    It’s great to see a video with an honest review with someone who actually follows the instructions instead of making it up as they go!…Both of these products are part of a five part system & if followed correctly will add protection & outshine the general consumers vehicle like nothing else for the money!
    Thanks for restoring my faith, instead of watching haters hate who can’t read & then blame the product… Excellent job! 👏🏼

    Phil, used both products at the 6 month point after using their polish/wax. I highly recommend the TW hybrid solutions products. For those of your viewers who have never used the TW hybrid products, there is an order to follow. Step. 1, after properly preparing your care, I use Polish/Wax 2 coats, waiting day in between, Step 2, two coats of Ceramic Spray, waiting a day in between. Step 3, occasionally using there 3 in 1 detailer, (I generally use ONR mostly because it cost less) a weekly chore. Step 4 at the 6 month mark, 1st contact wash, use the TW Hybrid soap. Step 5, while car is wet. spray Wet Wax, then dry. Still going strong at 7 months. I am NOT a professional detailer, but preparation is KEY. I enjoy your videos, keep up the GREAT WORK!

Of most brands tested, low to high priced, turtle ranked best. Used it this weekend and can say, it is a game changer. Thanx for the review vid. I can support all you said. Heres something I would like to point out. I live in a part of India where it rains for 6 months, so the car gets really dirty with all the road grime and oil. I felt turtlewax ceramic wash shampoo not to be as efficient in cleaning off the dirt and grime as the usual turtlewax shampoos out there. Probably for you in your location things are a lot different.. what worked for me is first lubricating my car with usual shampoo using canon gun to remove all course materials like sand, then second the classic two bucket method with usual turtle wax carnauba shampoo, finally I apply the ceramic wash shampoo over this and its magic ♥️. The glaze and hydrophobicity is absolutely stunning. I do decontaminate, fine polish and apply sealant every 6-12 months depending on my needs.

    glad I watched this. I always though ceramic washes were only for already coated vehicles, but looks like the key making sure you have clean/flat paint.....which almost defeats the purpose but hey, it works!

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  Před 4 lety +1

      Actually this one is interesting. It’s designed to wash and protect on one step. I wouldn’t say it’s really for coated vehicles, I would still stick with a shampoo like a Carpro Reset becasue it’s a strong cleaner that “reset” the coating by making sure there is nothing clinging to the paint.

    I think they are really great products , I use both of them, but I believe that they are clogging the drying towels and due to the hydrophobic characteristics washing them will not solve the problem ….just my 2 cents… Hello from Switzerland and thanks for your videos

    Turtle wax is officially becoming my favorite right now. I think that car soap is the first one I've seen that actually wash and 'waxes' a car on a retail level, Im definitely going to buy the ceramic spray on's and the car soap, but the ceramic polish i don't need right now.
    Also Meguiars is stepping up their game with their hybrid ceramic wax products which I'm excited for, and their new user friendly ceramic coating that I will definitely buy.
    Griots is doing some things as well...Things are getting exciting in the detailing world right now.
    Also, off subject, Megs HCW application is the easiest when you spread it on the panel wet or dry with and applicator or damp towel and then rinse off, one spray per panel or large section stuf is powerful with this method and easiest to work with.

    Awesome video and fun to see the new TW Hybrid Solution line of products in action from you detailing youtubers that where on the Phoenix meet!
    Seems like they have put together a first batch of products that works great in synergy to maintain your vehicals. And as they seems to have an awesome performance and user friendly. Is a huge benefits. Like when you can put a whole line up of products that works in synergy to maintain your vehicals with. Then maybe not for me personally but some of the products I will certainly try. It's also depends on the price they gets here in Sweden which I go for. Sadly it's usually a higher price point for us here in Sweden with taxes costs and such. Hopefully they manufactures this Turtle Wax Hybrid Solution line of products in the UK too. Then it's holds the price down a little. For an example I looked up Meguiars M110 yesterday when ordering some products. And the domestic webshop has decent and good prices. The Meguiars M110 32oz I would be paying around $80 for. So about the double of the price and that's a minimum as some are up to 4-5 as much as you get it in the US. That makes some brands like Meguiars and Mothers in price ranges of high end like Carpro or Gyeon and sometimes even pricier than them. Nothing wrong with Megs and Mothers but you get a whole other options to chose from. Even Turtle Wax has a pro line of polishes where there T5 Heavy Compound is around $40 for only 250ml/8oz and that's crazy high LOL. Sonax Cutmax is just under $20 for the 250ml/ 8oz bottle which is around the standard price range of great compounds. Would have been interesting to test out the Turtle Wax T5 Heavy Compound and see how good it is. But it's crazy high of a cost. So you might see why I hope that the new TW Hybrid Solution line of products is around and just a little over what the prices is in the US.
    Awesome times when SEMA is and you see all of the new products that's being released. Finally you can get the Meguiars Deep Crystal M788 Ceramic Coating and the topper for it and other products with the SiO2 technology in them. And other brands too is releasing ceramic products. Fun times a head.

    If I remember from what it says on the bottle for the Wash and Wax is that you use 3oz of the product to a gallon of water. Looking at the bucket you used there was already water, you put in the 3oz, and then added more water till there are suds. From what I understand, it’s not supposed to be a big suds wash - so I’m curious to know why you added more water to get it to suds up the way you did?

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  Před 3 lety +1

      Yeah you can follow the dilution ratio and its fine, but adding more soap or more water doesnt make a difference. The TW Crew and Chemist said that its not a big sudsing soap but that it will foam up in the bucket when sprayed but then it dies down. It's totally fine to suds it up each time to get some foam. So either way it works just fine, in fact check this out, its a better more efficient way of using it, czcams.com/video/i4R_wGdqvwM/video.html

      Hi. Yes you can reuse these towels. These ceramic hybrid products are not concentrated ceramic coatings like the ones that come in the small 1-2oz bottles.
      Even with true ceramic coatings as long as you wash the towels right away you can still use them on paint. Small detailers waste towels and just throw them away after one use. I find it wasteful and completely unnecessary.

      I think snobishness is totally a word. I stayed away from Turtle Wax for a long time, really until about a year or two ago. I even got caught up in the Chemical Guys fad for a while. However, once I got past the logo and looked at the Chemical Guys stuff more objectively, I realized that most of it (including all 11 soaps I tried) completely let me down. Since then, I realized how something works is more important than the hype on a label. I have since given all of my Chemical Guys soaps away and moved on to happier washing.

  • @alanoconnor6742
    @alanoconnor6742 Před 4 lety +1

    This video answered a huge question for me. The instructions state to use 3 ounces per gallon. That is a whopping 12 ounces for a typical bucket. It also stated you can use the more standard 1 ounce per gallon as a base under other products. I noticed you used the 3 ounces but rather than putting it in just a gallon of water you filled the bucket up and still got beading results. I would probably never use it at the 3 ounces per gallon because I would go through a bottle in 4 washes so it's good to see results at a much lower dilution ratio.

      TW Wax & Dry is my favorite mainly because it kills two birds with one stone. You have to dry the car anyway so why not add a layer of protection plus a touch of shine. Hard to see on this beige paint, need a darker car to really show how the product works like the red truck at the end. I’ll be picking up this new line, I tried the Megs ceramic and was disappointed- it beads well but requires several applications and didn’t enhance the gloss. Plus you still had to dry the car. It foams up well in the bucket but it looses the foam quickly. But they didn’t design it to use in a foam cannon. Not yet anyways.

    CG ceramic soap was a waste of money. water didn’t bead or show how TW did after washing it.

    What do you feel the best way would be to knock down TW Ice SNS so I can try this out? Want to start with the Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating and use all the line. I put the SNS on about a month ago.

      I would lightly polish it off with something like Megs M205 or M210 or even 3D One. Then an IPA wipe down. That should give you a nice base to start with.

      @@MirandaDetailing Forgot to say that it is a new truck (3mo) and the paint is perfect with no marring or swirls. Really doesn't need to be polished at this time. Would like to just use chemicals to knock it off.

      It may be a little difficult to remove it quickly without doing some sort of light polish. Maybe try the Purple Power Vehicle and Boat wash and using super clean or your favorite APC or degreaser to take it off.

      TW states you must polish it off. You can't knock it down with chemicals. Even if it's not beading, they say it's still on there. I still, can't figure out if the hybrid polish will knock it down if you do it my hand. This is where TW lost me. If I am going to use a product that has do be polished off with a machine, mightmas well use C Quartz. And get years of longevity. May be sticking to Car Pro Reload for this reason. I really wanted to try the sealant but am bummed about the machine polishing aspect to knock it down and feel many non detailers will feel this way

      Hi. Nope.
      Only polishing will remove swirls.
