If PGMOL isnt corrupt the entire lot should be fired for incompetence on a scale that makes 90% of supporters convinced its corrupt.
💯 correct. Exactly this
And replace them with who exactly?
@@wolvezy People who will make the same decisions every week. If we can't get the "Right" decisions. We have to get "consistent" decisions so people can know what to expect. The level of incompetence from the PGMOL is actually beyond anything I could have imagined. If it came out that referee's were being bribed it would surprise exactly 0 people.
This has to be by far the worst PL campaign this season officiating wise.
The worst the PL campaign, the more money everyone makes. Even Skysports get all the clicks and views from the talking points. Gary Neville and Carragher are the bodyguards for the PGMOL now too 😂
Souness just said I don’t think they are biased and then accused them of being biased
You can’t make this up
It's astounding within minutes . 😂 thing is they can't actually admit the VAR scam
No biase
Ref favour bigger clubs
Is that been biased. Some pundits on talk sport are as bad as var
@RESPECTpine_ppleONpizza not really bias is if you favor something or someone because you dislike or have a reason to favor an opponent over a team .
Fear is being afraid to give a decision against a bigger team because you fear the consequences will be worse .
Souness mentioned the KOP at Liverpool mind you the ref missed a stick on pen v Doku at Liverpool that said it was against man City current champions
There are only 2 possibilities either incompetence or corruption! And from what I’ve seen this season incompetence just doesn’t wash with me!
I would like to live in Jims world, where we can trust everyone and the officials do their jobs perfectly 😂 Is Jim on VAR's payroll? Because he seems to be very biased on the subject.
You can't have a bunch of ex refs, running a referee's organisation without corruption.
Referee's are sort of like the police, but the police it's about actual laws and not rules of a game.
And we have so many corrupt police in the uk where youll get serious jail time, to think they wouldn't be within the pgmol is worse than stupidity.
He's on a wind-up to provoke the debate...
Jim is such a tit talking about more decisions being right that wrong. So many awful decisions, even with VAR having replays and communication with the referee. Absolutely embarrassing.
Exactly they r being paid to make them look better
These pundits and presenters are being paid and being paid well to say all is fine and dandy in the garden when it's most clearly not. Imagine if any of these "influences" came out on air and said "Yea there's definitely something fishy going on with all these dodgy decisions week in week out" there would be absolute hell 2 pay. Jim White, unfortunately is a full blown mainstream media man, sat there with his headphones on constantly been told what 2 say and what 2 stir up. A truly appalling specimen is what he is
Exactly. I don't know where he gets his "facts" from. VAR could make a decision and afterwards, still think they made the right call. So is that their fact? When I could still say they made wrong decision?
We only needed goal line technology, VAR has taken over the game and it's ruining it!
Exactly, so,they can get away with their match fixing
Error after error. Get rid of var now!!
What did VAR actually get wrong? The only big decision VAR overturned this weekend was the Coventry offside, and it was correct!
The issue is the refs. Not var. The refs are using poor judgement over and over denying VAR the chance to make the right call.
It's not VAR it's we've got the same corrupt/incompetent officials running VAR with a weird version that's pretty much " Doesn't matter if they got it wrong agree with the ref if we think we can get away with it"
They trusted their officials in Italy Spain Brazil and many others why are we so special
They are unbiased, but they do lean towards to the big clubs.... said in the same sentence. Well play Souness
It’s all one big business and Skysports with VAR stand right at the top of that pyramid with the bookmakers making billions every year.
Haven’t Sky got their own skybet as well! 🤔
@@GIBBO4182sky sold skybet to CVC partners who own la liga, its mad. CVC is also located in Luxembourg. Easy county to avoid tax and money launder. Offshore accounts payments
@@GIBBO4182they sold skybet to CVC partners who own La liga and are located in Luxembourg. Offshore accounts eh
@@GIBBO4182Sky sold skybet to CVC partners who are located in Luxembourg. They also own la liga. Big business man 😂
@@GIBBO4182CVC own skybet now and they also own La liga. Located in Luxembourg 😂
Corruption at its finest
😡 forest have been quiet and polite all season about these game after game decisions and nothing happens , SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE NOW
These two semi finals were won by Manchester clubs on VAR decisions and both went in favour of city and utd both from Manchester grealish handball not given Coventry offside goal not given had it been for city and utd these VAR officials would have certainly given those decisions
What about the Coventry handball? Of course you didn't see that did you? Just like VAR didn't see it. There's an actual league table of VAR interjection with decisions for and against and man united are 17th on that table. This is an issue of bad refereeing but they get away with because people pick and choose who's deserve the support.
Absolute rubbish mate. Utd got nothing from the Cov game in their favour.
So coventry missed there pens on purpose??
What about Caicedo? Should of sent off possibly twice? Certainly once. Or does that not fit in to your agenda? Refs are just terrible full stop.
Greame just said they are unbiased but his next sentence literally shows they're biased (lean towards big clubs) lol
GET RID OF VAR ASAP,
Football is racket. Good example is the penalties that Argentina got in the world cup. It was clear that FIfa wanted Messi to win the worldcup.
Cry me a river
Ex players want to be pundits, commentators, agents, journalists....... why not refs yeah?
Go on..trust the referees like you trust the politicians. Keep up !
Forest blatantly had 3 penalties not given yesterday, how is that? The two fouls in the box were clear and obvious and they just said play on. It's a farce
And goldbridge is on to something as well with the whole Michael Oliver thing and city
We have to trust our officials ??? What?
No Ex players. Hell no. just full financial and personal commitment to football should be the mantra for referring matches.
How can u trust the officials when they're not trustworthy?
There is a ref on the pitch and var operative and Assistant VAR and none of them saw that third young challenge as not a pen when he was no where need the ball .Just laughable 😂
Isn’t “leaning towards the bigger clubs” called bias?
Ex player on VAR? Imagine Gabby on VAR 😂 or Carragher. Ditch it as less complaints if only onfield descions count.
Simple . Bring in foreign officials
First thing that referee isn't good enough, he had done many times with united as well.. and why UEFA still keeping him..
Why do they think PGMOL and referees can't be corrupt? They keep saying factually that referees are not biased. The rate at which controversial decisions are being made by referees and VAR definitely points towards bias and corruption.
They have hidden behind 'clear and obvious' error for far too long.
Another one is 'subjective decision'.
We need consistency across the league for all teams, for all games when it comes to refereeing.
Something shouldn't be a penalty today and it's not tomorrow.
Having ex players in the var room is still not an answer. Just listen to the ex players after games, they cannot agree…
The problem is not VAR is the personnel using it
VAR is the personnel using it. The clue is in the 'V' of 'VAR'
When clubs complain about var a host of ex football players who are pundits come out to ridicule the club complaining.
Funny that, isn`t it?
Ex players in charge of VAR has to be the worst idea I've ever heard tbh.
VAR has shown the blatant consistent bias, the REFs always had, which was excused by thw fact that they couldn't see it more rhan once and from their point of view on the pitch only, whicb was understandable.
But now with Video Assistance Refering, for the dame Refs to now still continue ro make similar mistakes consistently, and not be stepped down, shows complicit bias by the PGMOL, which infers a corruption, to be able affect decisions and not judge all cases (match incidents) equally.
I'm a Everton supporter and agree with forest. All three were penalties it's all a laughing stock.
Cheers Mate We Will Both Stay Up…..👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Its a fact that VASR is corrupt, if only say 3-6 incidents looked wrong we could all say alright lets run with that, but it must 100 incidents plus this season were officials have got it wrong.
Scrap it before it becomes the Elephant in the Premier League.
Jim White has been around football most his life and still doesn't understand it.
I would take anything Jim says on talksport as a pinch of salt.
He’s there to create drama between Simon, guests and callers. He constantly plays devils advocate to create conversation
Trust Officials 😂😂😂😂
Trust is earned Jim!!
Plenty of ex-referees have come out saying they've bent or broke the rules, what's that if NOT intergrity?
It is simple...as it is when there is lack of quality, get foreigners, already happening with Managers/Coaches and players.
If a supposedly competent referee makes what is generally agreed as 3 wrong decisions out of 3 penalty calls, one must question his integrity, as what other factor is there?
When Mike Dean said he deliberately ignored a VAR decision because his mate Anthony Taylor had already had several hard decisions to judge in a Chelsea game a while back thats when i lost all faith in the referees in England.
As a referee Mike Dean was very dodgy and another one was Lee Mason who claimed to have forgotten to draw the offside lines for the Arsenal v Brentford game and then retired as a ref a few months later with a large payout from someone no doubt. 😢
Jim white wouldnt know what fair is .harland de bryne tired he said at semi final .no mention of chelsea and 10 ist team squad injured
Rubbish response from White & Jordan. At least Souness sees the "favouritism" refs have with the 'big teams'. What these two are missing is when VAR doesn't get involved which was 3 penalty calls that Taylor mistakedly got wrong. VAR has missed so many and then sometimes intervened incorrectly, that is what winds fans up.
There are tonnes of lower league ex players that havent played for a premier league side that never earned the big bucks that would know way more about football and would love the job
At this rate, I definitely need a VAR on Rishi Sunake 😂😂
There are a lot of tackles or challenges in football that are subjective and could be argued if foul play occurred or not.
Here's an idea, hire overseas referees. No bias then, and frankly the standard is better too!
How come everyone on main stream media thinks that refs in the premier league cant be corrupt or incompetent? They must be a special kind of people i guess 🤔
All referees don't have integrity...some are biased
VAR isn't the problem its the corruption in the officials abusing their positions to fix games. 1 rule for 115 an complete different set of rules for everyone else. The fa cup final says it all without forrest. Chelsea deserved a penalty. An Coventry clearly won 4-3 footballs dead. Sack every single official. Liverpool an wolves robbed of at least 10 points each this season not to mention forrest, everton all while we have 115 mopping up everything. Football is dead boycott till the corruption is dealt with. I wont be happy till every single official is sacked an find NONE bias ones.
Jim do you think Referees are untouchable every body though the Post Office was Untouchable but look what’s happened.
well done to that fan for bringing up real madrid v barcelona for absolutely no relevant reason
Forget the rights or wrongs about VAR one thing is for sure - matches used to flow much much better without it - I watched an International game a while ago without VAR - a mistake was made on one of the goals but hardly anybody said a thing about it either during or after the game - VAR might give you more correct decisions but that comes at a huge price imo
It should be a set panel on VAR that are not ex refs, they should jsut be analysts that every week make the same decision everytime, and if they are not ex refs they wont be biased to protect refs when they make a questionable call
ex-Players would be just as embarassing
wow Souness is right. former players could be offered a good salary. hear about so many former players struggle with boredom or being lost after retiring also the stopping of income would want them to come back in
Jim defending his paymasters again. The worst radio sports host around
Souness is right. VAR has exposed all the refs. Corruption at the highest level. Funny how the two Manx clubs are kept apart in the Cup SF for 2nd straight season 🤔
A lot of the 'decisions they have got right' probably refers to the offside calls, many of which are so tight no one would know it is right should we not have VAR.
Was hoping Steve was gonna make a good point about the clásico last night, because it was a disgrace that la liga doesn’t have goal line tech, but he didn’t really say anything 😭
if the technology isnt there then it shouldnt be used.
its the wrong way around, it should experimented in lower leagues and only used in premier league once its near perfect
We have to trust our Officials.
We have to trust the Science.
It has to be corruption at this point, not giving the penalty for the Grealish handball and then giving a penalty against Man United literally a day later, literally on the same pitch is beyond incompetence at this point. Something has to be done, ex players needs to speak up about this
The decision making by VAR should be up to a set standard. The rules of the game are a known factor, so VAR should be looking at a way to make the right decision with a higher success rate. Its quality control of decision making process. Football is a multi million pound business not amateur sport. Getting decisions right needs to be a given standard. If a quality control department of any industry in Britain got the product safety wrong and peoples lives were impacted, or money lost /wasted then the company would be holding a comprehensive review. People would be questioned and rebuked. Its a good job the VAR staff don't build cars or aeroplanes.
A big shout out to forest for poking the bear we all know something has been going on now its openly being talked about.
Incompetence PGMOL!!! Fire them
If you say VAR favours big teams, is that not the bias & integrity we're all talking about🤔
This is the most incompetent group of officials I've ever witnessed, I've watched Liverpool get done by on field decisions and the var officials all season, however wolves, foest, and a couple of other teams are far worse off.
They all work for city. Literally.
Attwell is totally incompetent. Look at his very poor previous record
When all said and done, we had 7 shots on target and never scored. We could not score in a women's prison.
What can’t football get var right? Rugby union TMO’s from my time of watching rugby have never got a decision wrong. Just proves that football referees are inept! Why don’t the premier league send their referees to be trained by these rugby union referees.
Formula one have ex drivers on the stewards panel, there should be a mixture of ex players and var referees looking at var.
to say fans must trust the referee is a nonsense. to utterly and blindly trust the referees after what weve seen over the past season is just shambolic and utterly disgraceful to say that we should. if Forest has a case then they should go ahead. and they should have a right to do so as a PL club. all institutions have a performance based audit or inspection/testing procedure. why do the PGMOL look like they dont ...? so all res can just go ahead and do what they want and everybody must just accept it ...? this is just ridiculous
Why Jim? Referees with allegiances or financial interests related to specific teams or players may unintentionally demonstrate bias in their decisions, consciously or unconsciously. This bias can lead to unfair advantages or disadvantages for certain teams undermining the credibility of the game. Simple fix only have officals that have no allegiances .
Of course, they are biases similar to ex players
Sourness just said big clubs get important decisions 😂then says there is no bias😂 clown
How many bad decisions Collina made without the technology we have now?
just take it out. my team middlesborough didnt get a clear offside against Leeds which stopped a draw and made Leeds go second and probably promotion but it kept the games atmosphere amazing. its entertainment isnt it so not having var is much more enjoyable and entertaining.
unlucky Middlesborough
They are corrupt. Deal with it.
You cannot blindly trust everyone just because they are in a authoritative position corruption can happen at every stage and should be investigated.
The problem is refs and VAR offcials can make no end of mistakes with no comeback.
If one of the offcials from the Eve/For game had to explain the decisions made ,then they would probably be a bit more focused when making those decisions
It's because they make the process complicated, by looking at everything they can. Surely when reviewing things we can try to simplify it and REMOVE the description CLEAR and OBVIOUS because what might be clear and obvious to one official might not be clear and obvious to another, let's remove that and simplify it.
How can they say you must “”trust the officials”” when so many ex referee’s have admitted to being “”corrupt””. Souness just said they aren’t corrupt or biased and then said they lean towards the big clubs. If they are a fan of the rival club that are battling to stay up don’t have to wear a scarf to be biased to what would help your club.
has VAR been good for football? it was meant to make the game better, but has it"? and yes graeme is right, we are not talking about football monday morning at work, every week now its bloody VAR and what they have missed" it has not made it better, but a lot worse
Oh, no, there is no corruption in the Premier League said Jim ! get away, its rife and right through the spine of the game.
Hiw did oliver and vr missed the pen against man city
Tbh he probably was wearing a Luton town scarf. Greast point!
Just because the media doesn’t mention corruption doesn’t mean that fans don’t. All you have to do is look at the handball in the Manchester City game compared to the one in the Manchester United game and you can see the corruption exists.
All this clown Simon suggests is that clubs should keep quiet even if these refs going against your club. What is it? Dictatorship?
When Cov played Leeds last week the referee was from Wakefield. He was shocking and gave cov 3 free kicks all game. Surely the that should have been looked at prior to the game. That's like cov having a ref from warwickshire
Nope, we don't have to trust that our officials are unbiased. From the outside looking in, it's either incompetence or corruption. Or both. There are a lot of bad decisions going on and no excuses for it. Coventry's 4th goal was not offside. Somebody needs to look at the methodology behind how those lines are drawn. Also, what about Grealish's handball. There are some terrible decisions going on.
It’s really simple. Measure each side of the pitch and mark the lines from the same length = straight line
After the fiasco with Spurs & Liverpool. These excuses are becoming laughable.
Football is becoming a tv spectacle
I'm convinced, more than ever, that the Prem is bent. I'm not a Forrest or Everton fan but THEY WERE THREE PENALTIES!
City favourites for the title with 115 charges. Chelsea taking the piss.
These pundits are saying what they're saying because they're worried about it all slowing the Premiership Gravy Train.
Coventry fan here, we got a nice taste of VAR, thank god it isn't in the championship!
You dont "HAVE TO" do or believe anything, are these pundits for real?
Honestly as a Scottish man Jim is an actual joke.
And souness saying its not corruption and then saying the big teams get better decisions is hilarious
Thank you graeme.
.see where everyone gets it wrong is this ,in the past when you got a bad call off the ref ,you could accept it .based on the fact that refs are only human ,with var you took that away so now everyone can see whats happened on the monitors ,theres no excuse whatssoever for a wrong call unl;ess the var are bent
