I picked up a 4 year old Bentayga for £120k - 10k on clock purchase price £215k new W12 all options
I just could not pay £125k for a new Rang Rover the build quality has dropped over the years having had 4 and they are just so commonplace now, whilst I would not spend £200k plus on a new SUV, as a second-hand vehicle with such quality and refinement the 2016 model year W12 with city pack touring pack Mulliner interior rear entertainment option etc etc - it’s a wise choice.
Some try to review the Range Rover or Audi Q7 to a Bentley, that’s like saying the pope is just a priest or Louis Roederer Cristal is merely a champagne. the Bentley is the epitome of quality and drives in a different league to the others.

Bought also 2017 w12mulliner for €110k and im so pleased, the best car in the universe. W12 just makes it so special
I love my 2016 first edition, it came fully loaded and cost first owner over 200k. I paid half that after 3 years. It is the best car/suv I have ever owned yes a Macan GTS will go around bends quicker but the W12 pulls better than my Cayenne Turbo S. the build quality and attention to detail are superb and although my Range Rover Autobiography was well appointed it just lacked the essence of the Bentley. But someone has to buy the new one in order for the likes of myself to benefit when they become a used option (I won’t say bargain as they are not reasonable to buy secondhand and as for servicing, tyres and insurance well that’s another story). Sadly the new back end looks like its been lifted of the Audi Q7 .........
Hi Paul, thanks for the comment. I agree, you always get a much better deal getting as used one after someone else has kitted it out with extras. Sounds like you got a great car there! There is just something special about Bentley. I found that even tho it can pull extremely well I much preferred sitting back and relaxing and taking in all of the finesse of the car. 🤗

Yes, I prefer the old one too. Although I prefer the rear of the new one with those nice lights. But the hood of the old one follows the traditional curvy shape, stopped by the fender, of the original Continental which has more personality than the new one. I however, prefer the front of the hood on the new one since it goes all the way to the grille (very unfortunately in plastic I guess...) It should be noted that the new one is still available with the W12, but this is the top of the line so depreciation is maximum, even more compared to a used old version. Analog cluster is way better than a digital one in my opinion, like a mechanical watch is more respectable than a quartz watch....

i like the older rear more but the newer front more
Me too i like the new Front more than the old one but rear is more classy the old one the new one dont match with this car. Also the analog parts like more than complete Display one. Also I prefer the Diesel much more than petrol, politic killed the Diesel one.

what can I say the new Bentayga 's Exterior looks not so as the old one , moving next the interior it looks almost the same but the old looks good then the engines the new speed version is degraded to the v8 but old has a w12 engine then comes the price it has increased to 75k more than the old one. Conclusion is old is better than the new one

@@CarChatTV I have been thinking Candy Red and the upholstery colour two combinations as blue/ beige and definitely with Naim audio system. Can´t drive even a meter without best ever quality sound system. The queue for new vehicle will be approximately 5-6 months, due to dealer, but what can do? It´s worth to wait long enough such gem, isn´t it?

Well I drive the W12 continental gtc, so sorry, but I'm going old school. Basically because I have my eye on one, to go with my continental gtc. They'll look lush together!! 😊
W12 never sounds as good as the V8 but the W12 is cooler
Yeah the W12 just feels so much better on the acceleration.
The old style is just different, look at those lights, isn't similar to its other models which makes it stand out

New Lincoln Continental has same wheel design with grey and white leather I’m sure the leather quality is better lol 😂

Rear lights of new model make it looks cheaper than corean SUVs.

$60k are higher mileage ones. I've been looking for one. Takes $100k to get a nice one with low miles. Which is worth every penny more than 60

Looking back and after a few test drives of the 1st gen Bentaga, I have to say I love the interior of the gen 2 Bentaga but think the gen 1 exterior is a lot better looking. The rear of the new Bentaga looks very Asian import to me. Hate it. The square front grille looks very unimpressive. I understand Bentley wants to remain a ultra premium brand but the Bentaga is grossly overpriced by $75k. It’s not impressive enough or even better than others to justify its price point. There are better German alternatives even if you don’t consider price. The Bentaga might impress the plebeians that don’t buy in this price range but those that do will easily see it doesn’t deliver to justify its price.
Yeah it’s interesting you say that as a few others have said they don’t like the rear of the new shape. It is a lot of money and you have to really love it otherwise there are a lot of other options like you said👍🏽 what car are you driving at the moment? Thanks for the comment 🤗
