    I can completely appreciate the extra lighting touches for the facelift. HOWEVER, I think I prefer the old rear-end. This taillight design is more at home on a Flying Spur.

    I like that red interior! Great to see something other than the boring black, beige, and gray that are all-too-common. Don’t forget the HomeLink garage door opener - that’s optional (even though it’s standard in their least expensive VW models). And your discussion of physical switches, buttons, and knobs - why hasn’t the NTSB stepped in and regulated this?!? Don’t forget 747’s - we’ve got physical switches in our cockpit too!!!

  • @ClaireYunFarronXIII
    @ClaireYunFarronXIII Před 3 lety

    The reason why the Bentley Dynamic Ride 48-volt system is optional, or the reason why it should be, is because it is not one for everyone. Same case with the E-active Body Control 48-volt system on some Mercedes-Benz. The ride makes some people carsick because the car is constantly adjusting itself underneath, and people notice that and can get carsick as a result. Once you get the system in your car...the is *NO* turning it off completely. It is not a matter of pulling off one or two components. It is the entire drive system. Take out the battery, the entire car's driving will fall apart...assuming the car is not undrivable. This system is just like aeroplane travel. It is not for everyone.

    I wish all influencers would point out as you did the safety and complexity of “new screen technology. I have a new Cayenne, to change the radio station I have to hit media - favorites and finally scroll to the station I want. After all that I have to get back to the screen I want on like nav or home, and that is only the tip of the issues. My turbo Panamera had screen activated center vents, some sick bastard has to be chuckling himself to sleep.

    I like the red interior, stands out from the usual suspects. It works well with the bright work.
    Did they replace the Breitling clock on the V8 with a generic one? It looks different than the one on the new Speed.
    Overall, its better than the old one, but I'm not still not a fan.
    M, can you sweet-talk them into giving you a Continental with the Côtes de Genève pack? Santa Maria Madre De Dios, that is something else!
    Excellent work as always, M.

    Please continue preaching physical knobs for the common functions! I was looking at Range Rovers a few weeks ago and JLR has completely lost the plot with Rovers. No hard buttons (capacitive touch on the steering wheel doesn't count) and two multi-function dials for the whole system. It's stupid. Bentley has found a VERY NICE middle ground, and they should hold that ground.

  • @TheMystro1971
    @TheMystro1971 Před 3 lety

    Compared to other luxury German SUV's, the new Bentayga is $100k too much money. There just isnt that much impressive or even tangible difference. Cast aluminum wheels, plastic chrome trim, flat black plastic around the shifter, manual reclining rear seats, etc..??? Fabric sun shade instead of alcantara? Top Flagship German SUV models dont leave these luxury amenities out. This Bentley should not be any more than $140k. Its a VAG product to begin with and I see too much of VAG with the interior parts. At this price point we can/should be critical so why is the drivers leather seats already showing wear with leather creases on the bottom bolster? Too many reviews will never point these issues out because they want to review the next RR or Bentley.
