- We test the Lamborghini Urus, one of the newest arrivals to the Super SUV segment, against a more established rival, the Bentley Bentayga. With them both sharing the same V8 engine and VAG parent company, we were curious as to how they compare.
After setting out from the wonderful Manor House Castle Combe, we test both cars on the road, before inviting some special guests to help us decide between the two cars.

They may all use the same platform, but each division gets to decide how its put together; and regardless of the owner, these are still the finest automobiles on the planet. Now put that in your pipe, and smoke it.
Urus, hands down. It more engaging, more dynamic. If you want a big lounger, then Bentayga but sorry, not for me.
I do wish this channel takes off in the coming years because I really do enjoy the content.

You know what would make the perfect car program? This combined with Jonny Smith doing EV's at Fullycharged, Henry Catchpole doing his nerdy stuff with Carfection and Chris Harris doing his solo thing.
There you have the perfect car show and it would attract millions!

This is easily one of my favorite channels on CZcams. I truly love you guys! But they definitely need a new audio editor for these videos. I don't know how it happened where you can hear two mics come out of sync but it really is a distraction and is a shame it was missed before the video was uploaded. Please guys keep up the good work!

i like this channel.their videos are different style then the other car channels out there.refreshing and the host pretty good as well, especially that guy other than Tiff.better than various presenters on new top gear that for sure.
I prefer the urus, one is sport suv one is elegant suv. Is like to compare the continental gt to huracan perf. You should compare the bentayga to the Rolls cullinan

Fantastic content, as always. Beautifully filmed and a wonderful dynamic between Paul and Tiff. In a sea of automotive content, Lovecars stands head and shoulders above all others.
As for the two Super SUVs, I love the way the 6th element styling cues are repeated through the Lambo range, including the Urus. I can't put my finger on what it is about the Bentayga - it just looks...........odd. Not Chrysler Aztec odd, but odd all the same. And on two such similar cars in terms of luxury and performance, it comes down to styling doesn't it?
This was shot in a beautiful part of the UK. Cotswolds? *edit* Castle Comb, best part of the video.....besides Tiff. lol
Nice review team Lovecars. I like the Urus. It's a shame they didn't keep it naturally aspirated but still a good effort by Lamborghini. I am looking forward to see how they improve on this with the next generation Urus or sportier version!

I know Lamborghini already made a big car but they're still an unlikely company to bring out an SUV. Having said that they have made the best looking one on the road. In my opinion anyway.

Saw a Maserati Levante the other day.

Cullinan... All of three SUV's have a maximum version with just 4 passenger seats and luxury center console. Champagne, comfort, speed & technology.
The Bentley just doesn’t work for me not my idea of a Bentley,but the Urus works better as a suv!Plus the Italian bird is sexier

Quality camera work.
Both excellent examples of an SUV. The reason the mode selector for the differential can only go forward is to minimize the chances to accidentally either the driver or passenger change the pre-selected drive mode to something different. Urus gets my vote. Remap of ecu and padle-shift software and the specific car will reliably be at 800+ hp with even faster gearchanges.

This channel is NOT all about Tiff Needell but, I'm with him all the way. From exposed cup-holders to the Urus looking as though it's been in an accident. I agree with him totally. As a massive Lamborghini fan, the Urus is the least Lamborghini thing I've ever seen.

The interior is incredibly unique and very special. With all those crazy levers and shit. It definitely feels like an occasion when you get in!!! That's what makes it a Lamborghini

What I don't understand is why you have different drivers for each car. One driver can give a better comparison by driving both cars or have both guys drive each car.

Massive missed opportunity for Lamborghini. They could have returned to the beautiful curvaceous styling of the 350GT, 400 GT, Miura, and Islero (as would fit a large GT car) with art deco gauges and a classy look. Instead, they've made the civic type-r of SUVs. Does modern Lamborghini know how to do anything but edgy, tasteless styling?
They just know their current customers. Its now a younger group of people that buys the Lamborghinis. Its really just a show off car, at this moment

(But footballers and musicians who can afford them and do buy them, want the things they build at the moment. The same is true for the Bentley that looks like an overweight lifted Bentley stationwagon to me.)
The whole point of such 200k+ SUVs is to be a “I don’t give a fuck”/because I can/middle finger statement. So although I don’t like the designs I see why the designers make them like that. Otherwise you could just do the sensible thing and get an RS6...

I’m in my 60’s so at this moment in time I would go for the Bentley. Go back a few decades it would be the Lamborghini. So there is no real answer to the debate.

Hello Tiff!! I just wanted to tell u how cool it was to have a bit of a chat with me a while back over the Porsche test.. I know u couldnt remember but I was you asked me a few questions about my now 24,000 mile 1988 U.K. RHD Porsche 930 Turbo which my uncle left me and SharkWerks built quite stout for me.I have the ONLY RHD/MPH NOT KILO SPECD 930 in the U.S. which is stroked and dynoed at 618hp/544trq..Not bad for a 88!! lol Im actually British myself...I was born in Epsom Surrey and lived almoost across from Epsom Downs and lived in Chelsea until 84 and I'm now 44..no kids but super cool girlfriend who drives my RADICAL RXC 500R and I damn sure still have my Resident Alien Green card..So does my pop who came over 1st in Sept of 57 on The Queen Mary ALONG with his 54 Vincent Rapide which I just actually rode around the block. Id love to share some of my cars and their history with u. I really did enjoy the fact u took a moment of your time to speak with me. To me Drivers are like RockStars!!. Ive worked around music my whole life and for a few bands such as Pantera and Stevie Ray Vaughan sat with me and my pop when I was young and jammed at his house a few times. We still stay in touch with his brother Jimmy...He played with the Fabulous Thunderbirds..Anyway my pop picked up a 82 COUNTACH 5000 BACK IN 88 FOR The price of a corvette basically and still have it. I took it to my High School Prom and when I turned 18 I basically drove it daily...lol Its still stock except the exhaust which is a Capristo exhaust and ofcourse it now has electronic ignition... still have the original sidedraft webers which my pop sat at the table and jetted himself......Cleared 90% of the smoke they are notorious for pumping out. lol.. Anyway.. As a amateur racer\driver I have a ton of respect for what u do!! I would do anything to have a automotive journalism career but I have a degree in what???? Great show... has to be said though, the audio from inside the cars was rubbish
choose Urus if you like speed, handling and care about depreciation and looks. choose Bentley if you are older and have so much money that you don’t care about depreciation, and love confort and big tall luxury tanks.

I can't express how much I like your content, guys. Tiff is of course a well-known quantity from Fifth Gear. But Paul is also a very special presenter. It is obvious he is very passionate about his work and loves cars.
Last but not least, the music of choice is very fine and fitting too.
Yes the Lamborghini Urus is faster with that V8 engine but I'll take the W12 Mulliner Bentayga ANY DAY !!!
