- This is a video sharing with you guys some mods that I've done for my new Full Size Spirit Halloween Ghostbusters Proton Pack. I got several mods I've done and I'll also be selling these to anyone who is interested. I hope you guys like the mods I've done and of course the video! Thanks for watching!

That was the goal, tried to make it easy for anyone to do it. You won't regret getting one.
with your V hook fix it looks really good, only thing missing that i would want is the inclusion of an S hook. i tend to keep the wand hanging from my belt when i'm walking around at events, and that make it easy.(not to mention that much faster to have the wand in hand for when folks want pictures)

Hey Kind good to see you on CZcams my friend! Hope all is well with you sir! Yes I actually like it a tad better as well because you could pretty much do anything to it and you don't really have to worry about it as much. The pack lights are much better as well IMO. Crazy in 2023 you can get a full size pack with lights and sound that looks halfway decent for 250 bucks. Where was this stuff when we were getting started way back when? haha thanks for commenting man and good seeing you.

These super easy mods work well and look great! I'll be getting at least the wand set. I'm assuming you can hit them with some super fine sandpaper, then paint them up?
Yes sir you could do anything you want with them haha. They are sandable and paintable. You could also glue them anyway you want. I just used hot glue to keep from damaging the surface area with a different glue.
Swap that wand out for the hasbro one and wire it in. That wand from spirit is lack luster.

I thought about getting one, but i know if i do ill be spending over $100 on upgrade parts while im still buying new parts for the original spirit pack and having plans to upgrade my first proton pack build

Nice work! Would it make sense to drill holes in the wand track that line up with the existing v-hook holes & put some longer screws in there to keep it in place? In my mind that'd be sturdier than just hot glue that way. But I don't have my pack yet. Just curious if you considered/tried that while making this.
You could if you want but not really necessary. The guntrack holds just fine with some hot glue and the vhook holds just fine as well just screwed into the guntrack. But like I said to each is own. Thanks for the comment!

Pretty neat and easy upgrades. What are you using to model the mods? And that stiff hose has to go..little to no flexibility.

I just ordered a Spirit Halloween pack for my costume this year. Any suggestions on how to mount it to an Alice rig?
I haven't mounted one yet but I've seen someone just mount one with nuts and bolts directly to the motherboard it comes with.

My Etsy store should be in my description. I don't sell the files just prints.
When I got my spirit pack, the v-hook on the pack came undone. Did you fix that? It’s held on by a piece of plastic, don’t let it break.
I haven't had any issue that side of the vhook yet. I'll keep that in mind though.
@@ChrisBoshProps how do you think I should fix it? Or how would you do it? Do you think that industrial-strength glue will hold it on there?

The spirit pack is cool and deff gets you in the spirit of ghostbusters. However with that being said, i think for the price point its pretty shitty. I feel like if i squeeze to hard on the wand itll crumble. And the firing sounds are pretty lame. I got my daughter that new wand with all the video game sounds for 40 bucks and its way cooler and more durable. Shes 3 almost and hasnt broken it yet which just says how durable it is. If you gently bump into something with this spirit pack id be afraid to look at the damage. Its better as a mantel piece.

why not use super glue instead of hot glue
Super glue would damage the surface area. I'm trying to have these mods be easy to put on and keep the person from damaging their pack in anyway. But someone can very well use super glue if they feel necessary or even epoxy glue.
