    Ingredients:
    Serves 3 - 4 pax
    10 pieces of shallots - sliced
    4 pieces of dried chilli - rehydrated & chopped (optional)
    60g of Chinese dried mushrooms - rehydrated & diced
    250g of minced meat
    150g of long beans - diced
    15g of dried scallops - soaked in 1 cup (250ml) of water
    1 cup (250ml) of water
    2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
    1 tableespoon of light soy sauce
    1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce
    A few dashes of white pepper
    1 teaspoon of sugar
    1 teaspoon of salt
    Some cornstarch solution
    1 tablespoon of sesame oil
    1 tablespoon of Chinese cooking oil (Shaoxing Huatiao wine)

    Thank you Roland and Jamie for this yummy recipe. Tried a few times as family loves it. I made do with cut-up stems of broccoli and asparagus as I didn’t have long beans at home then.     Mrsuferlonely, this dish is ok not to worry you can control the salt as you like if you cook it yourself. It looks great I will try it out this weekend but I will add spicy broad bean paste instead of chili. Thank you so much Roland for showing this one-pot dish it's so convenience to eat just like your kiam png recipe I made it a few times after watching your video it is so delicious my whole family loves it...

    Dried scallops are hard to find and expensive in my area. I may try this recipe but substitute with XO sauce

However, I note you favour the use of oyster sauce frequently. Can you introduce some dishes without the use of oyster sauce but with other natural herbs and spices not necessarily chillies?     Hi chef, I found this channel a couple of days and watched a few recipes and they're honestly great.
    I had some doubts though. I'm from India, and here usually only soya sauce, white vinegar, green and red chilli sauces are usually the only condiments easily available. Rest other things like fish sauce, oyster sauce, etc are hard to find or very expensive.
    Request you to please guide me how I could start cooking chinese dishes, and what all ingredients are must, and what to keep in mind while trying to substitute some other ingredients.

    In your ingredient list you showed 1 teaspoon each of sesame oil and Chinese cooking wine; however, in the video you said 1 tablespoon each. Which is correct?
