Hey guys, back with another Borderlands video and today, I wanted to go over 10 of what I think are among some of the Worst Rocket Launchers in Borderlands History! Like my Best Launchers in Borderlands History Video, this video will feature some of what I think are the Worst Launchers from Borderlands 1, Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!

I still think that Kaneda's Laser is the superior Tediore launcher between that and the Bunny.
@@AbletonRinzler I prefer the Plasma Launcher with the E-TECH barrel that tediore manufactures.
If the bunny tracked enemies like the gunarang and did more damage. It would be more useful.
Yeah. Also, I think if they were to improve the Redemption, they could have it where the 4 ammo cost causes a certain amount of additional rockets, with possible homing properties, to be fired alongside it.
And with less ammo in the clip, it reduces the amount of additional rockets fired.
At least then, it'd be a better balanced weapon compared to how it was in the first game.
The Tunguska is a reference to the 1906 Tunguska explosion caused by most likely a meteorite but it didn't kill anybody to our knowledge so I guess it should be vladof because it has the communism symbol so Russia because the explosion was in Tunguska russia
The thing I'll say about burst fire RPGs is this: Lilith's Phoenix skill can actually make it pretty deadly due to it occasionally not using all your ammo.

I got my Pyrophobia from Pyro Pete... thats kinda funny eheh
The Thingy's drop rate was nerfed into the dirt because people discovered the legendary farm too quickly. So it's not even valuable as Grinder fodder. It's just all around terrible now.
It still drops quite regularly for me
@@grandduelslover3055 most legendaries in this game have a 5 to 10% drop rate. Farm it more, you'll get one eventually.

Holy cow, so glad the Bunny is on Here! It's made me sooooo angry because it's a legendary dropped at OP7 that i tried to make work, but I can't tell you how many time I've killed myself using this weapon. You will blow yourself up and then it's not powerful enough to kill anyone for second chance. Ugh!
I'm sure we are gonna be able to find a poisonphobia in borderlands 3 ,and it's gonna be the worst of all of the maliwan launcher 🤣

EXPLODI FIER Not really. PBFG's and a lot of purple Maliwan rocket launchers are much better than the Pyrophobia or Cryophobia just on their other elemental variants alone.
Drunken Tungunska on Gaige is a lot of fun. As long as you have someone to revive you when the sham fails to save you and you oneshot every enemy...

For some reasons launchers from Borderlands 1 has a serious issue: outside the legendaries, uniques and, pearl it only works well on small critters, crabworms, human sized bandits and lance soldiers. It does pitiful to no damage against bruisers, badasses, large spiderants and devastators like Knoxx. Its the same as eridian weapons that suffers the same game issues

The Bunny isn't bad with Javelin Krieg once you figure out how to use it, but an E-tech Tediore launcher is generally better.
I actually really like the bandit e-tech launchers, and find them quite useful with maya.

I get what you're saying and I agree with you on a factual level, but I've had tons of fun blowing myself to smithereens accidentally with the Bunny. The only one I currently have is the Bustling Bunny, and it's a friggin' trip man.
I can definitely agree with most of this list, but the one I personally would have not included are the spread launchers from BL1. I say this mostly because of their great synergy with Brick since he can over time consistently regenerate rocket ammo cuz of one of his kill skills, and with a Blast Master com he can greatly improve the dps of an explosive spread launcher. Sure there are better options for launchers on Brick, but I usually prefer the 500% spread launchers due to them being able to hit multiple enemies close together in one trigger pull. It can really wipe out hordes of skags and bandits in my experience.

I got a flakker from a poop pile in unassuming docks when farming ranger class mods for axton.

I got a maggie in bullymong pilles

The Second Gunner Class Mod for Roland allows you to regenerate ammo for all Weapons in this game
Thats why it is possible to spam the redemption and this rocket launcher can get you easy second winds

3:31 The upside to the Rhino is that it can have three different elements (unlike most Maliwan Legendaries that have a specific element). Fire and acid are the only ones you need. Personally, I'd prefer any ordinary fire or acid Maliwan launcher.
5:02 The Mongol has always served me well in BL1, especially if I'm playing Brick with a Bombardier class mod. I prefer it over the Redemption.

8:40 Explosive? With Maliwan?! Maliwan launchers are never plain ol' explody-go-nuts, not even in BL1.

12:37 You're supposed to fire only one rocket, then throw the launcher. That's how you're supposed to do it with all Tediore launchers, just like how you're supposed to leave a healthy supply of ammo in the mag (1/2 to 2/3 or more) before tossing a Tediore gun.
bunny always consume 1 rocket per reload so leaving more in mag make no difference

When it takes 24 rocket ammo to kill one turret you know how bad the Redemption is especially when rocket launchers don't scale up well in bl1
The slag variant of prazma I tend to use cause not only is the slag chance pretty good but it also does decent damage not to mention it's good for mobbing if you don't like relying on magic missiles for slag as krieg but that's just me
I LOVE the Pyrophobia! I have had no real issues with it.
This borderlands CZcamsr only likes elemental guns if they come in all elements
With the phobia launchers, he uses Maliwan parts, which makes the rocket speed faster, which means less novas
Yesterday while playing a bit on my level 55 Krieg, I got 2 chubbies in one day, the first dropped a pandemic, the second, a friken bunny, a week before that I got a world drop WTF *sigh*
The redemption is an OK substitute for a helix launcher if you're glitch killing craw. Due to the comparably slow projectile speed it can be difficult to get the timing down though, so a helix is definitely a better choice.
This would be a stupid fun idea, if any burst fire launchers were in Borderlands 2, think what that could do for Gaige in close range. Just swap out to the burst launcher and decimate enemies at close range along with Anarchy.
Today, i did two thing that a True vault hunter can do :
I killed my first pyro pete (i was lvl 50)
A lvl 72 guy with a Bee join me.
(yes, i did nothing during this very very very hard fight)
Seyriu 22 pyro Pete the invincible is a pain in the ass, I fought him by myself at level 60. Fuck. That. Dude. Haha

Ok I use Roland in bl1, if you go for an ammo regeneration build the redemptions isn t that bad to use, the build I use is also good cause you can hold 2.5× the normal magazine so you get more shots out of one clip

Burst fire launchers are used to hit many enemy's. They kill or damage a bunch of them. With the Mongol it slags a whole group of them if found in slag element
the PRAZMA cannon is meant for boss fights, like the warrior, one shot and he's fucked.

the Bonus Package better NOT be on that list, as it's quite powerful (probably borderline OP on an Explosive Axton build)

The Pyrophobia is actually good from what I've tested, not the best but it can rip up enemies if shot from a proper distance and get a direct hit because it can hit the same target 3-4 times if so per shot, similar to the Sawbar. And the Tunguska's only problem is that damn self-damage, otherwise it's a pretty good Launcher

Unfortunately i got lucky and got a shock prazma cannon and randomly got a bunny from a chubby rakk in eridium blight

You can find it usefull in some situations, BUT in my concept a good weapon is one that you can always count with in any situation, like the Unkempt Harold or the Pimpermel.
I would say Reyna,Whisky or Ambra. (Im really sad the games dead.)

You should avoid maliwan parts on the Pyrophobia, it is a ok-ish launcher but maliwan parts makes it way worse
If you don't like the redemption then play brick or roland and have the com that regen rocket ammo it's basically the norfleet of borderlands one

Nah. It's modded with 2 shredder prefixes. Which increases pellet count by two per at no extra ammo cost.

i have a prasmacannon on my uvhm sal and i use it since i cant get vermi to spawn to get a norfleet and cant beat hyperious and i like it but it is bad
Every character has at least one cheese strategy to kill Hyperious easily within seconds as far as I know. I suggest you look one up.

The kitten, slag transfusions, the slow hand, antagonist, big boom blaster, ravager, coach gun, pitchfork, lasceax, hyperion synergy, lead storm, twister, hail, gunerang, avenger, maggie, E-Tech smgs.
Everything else would be overpowered gear. Bee, sandhawk, harold, norfleet, grog etc. That wouldn't take long to explain.

Pearlescent weapons just make me sad and angry. :,V I hope that every pearl from bl2 returns in bl3 but is made A-tier or better

The unforgiven is amazing if you can get one with a scope. The butcher is still great.
The storm, bearcat, and tunguska still have the same flaws but are at least usable.

keynan martinez well not really. This is just chance, but it took me SOOOOOO LONG to get The Thingy, instead getting up to around 7 Hails, so its not even a good source of grinder food...
I think gearbox nerfed the thingys spawn rate for the very reason of execsive farming.
Which was just a bad idea.
They nerfed the spawn chance massively shortly after the game came out since people figured out the exploit
@@perhaps9460 Farm the nukem on the digistuct arena during the first round. Slam all of the launch pads and spawn him in, kill him then jump in the giant hole or just die. You can do this over and over. Easy legendaries.

Dude, Salvador is the most mindlessly easy character in the game. Get a Grog Nozzle and a DPUH and watch the game play itself. As long as you spec into Money Shot and Inconceivable and have those two weapons you should be able to faceroll anything in the game no matter how crappy the rest of your build is.
