Paes is a legend! Unfortunately very underrated internationally..
Leander Paes!! The forgotten hero of India and Indian tennis at 5'9 or 5'10. Salute. Sorry Leander that my country is mesmerized by cricket 24/7.
He is well celebrated
5'9 or 5'10 is considered good in tennis
Leander Paes Indian legend every Indian should proud of him just think his age is now 45 look at him how fast and flexibility
That's true man..
Paes is a sportsman in true spirit...just loved him since he won a Indian Challenger at CLTA Chandigarh at age of 16 years...
@@ashwanikumar49541 was it singles? Or was he already into his doubles greatness
He sucks lul
@@gauravkalra4 lol he sucks actually...how many singles he has won? murray, nick is better than him!! but i do appreciate his achievment in olymics tho!!
Indians would not even know that how gr8 this guy was.
Tennis is the one of most popular and rewarded sports and highly competitive one.
And he won bronze in it in men's singles where no.1 legend Djokovic could not in 2021 in his peak.
Sadly cricket fucked up country would never recognize legend like him.
And I too at young age thought who is this guy we never saw him play cricket 😂
But now after becoming fan of tennis realised that he was no.1 in doubles and won bronze in singles too.
So true..
Speak for yourself. You maybe too young but 90s kids know him very well along with mahesh bhupathi. He is not some obscure figure in India. And Just because cricket is famous doesn't mean tennis can't be.
Novak lives for this kind of games! Humor and spirit of friendship!😎
That was a great exhibition match. So fun to watch the pros having fun.
Lovely guys from you, this is perfect crew!!!This is maybe better than some master or GS final :).I guess that Radek was happy on the and.
Lot of love to all Czech people from Serbia :)
Lots of love to Serbia from Prague! Novak can always feel at home with a Czech crowd.
Stepanek/Paes would've been an excellent team
Devotion, dedication and Fun = perfect entertainment in sports
Salute to great players who accepted their sport as their life.
Leander Paes is a legend. That's it.

Leander Paes 🙌🙌🙌
非常棒。
Great shot at 0.40
How grrrrr8 it would've been if Leander Paes had decided v v v strongly when he was in prime to sacrifice DOUBLES for the sake of SINGLES. He would've won very little due to the competition, would've made less money, less trophies at his home, but how much work satisfaction he would've gotten, and how much joy he would've given to spectators -- attacking game, single handed backhand, v gud volley game, decent serve, decent height, well built. Not sure which idiot had meddled with his mind and spoiled beauty for himself and spectators. For instance, when Sampras was at his peak, in 1 season of Pilot Pen Tournament, Paes won -3 -3. Just a glimpse, doesn't mean Paes would've won GSes or 1000s. But he shud've stuck with SINGLES. DOUBLES is fun, but not as passionate or obsessive or nerve tickling or tough as SINGLES.
Yeah i think the same of Guys like Daniel Néstor, koontinen, Mike Brian, mark knoules, etc, theres a Lot doubles speciallists with the talent for at least give good competition on singles
Don't agree, he would have been an average singles player, instead he decided to become an outstanding doubles player, easy choice. FWIW, I think watching Paes play doubles was the most interesting player of the last decade.
Don't agree . Rather the opposite. He may have been a good singles player ....but now he is a legend and has given us a chance to be proud as an Indian.
Of course agree he sometimes played world class tennis ...even beat Pete on his ( Pete's) peak. Was beating top ten players every now and then but not regularly...he was a singles player for many years , but couldn't become an elite.May be he had the potential of becoming so but couldn't....I don't know the reason....but in doubles he got success after success effortlessly as if he was made for it
@@kamalofdekaDid u play serious tennis, and not for fun with friends? Doubles is too easy, in comparison to singles. Doubles is an easy short cut for super talented players to win tournaments. It's like Sachin dropping down from test cricket to IPL & Ranji trophy level and blasting frequent double and triple centuries
Making Indians proud is secondary. Self-satisfaction wud be more in singles. How many fans watch singles and how many watch doubles. Reflected in prize money too. And no one inspires from Paes. All look up to Sampras, Agassi, big3, ...
No?
@@madhukiranattivilli2321 of course I don't know that deep ? May be you are right 👍👍 I just watched tennis but don't know how it works.
Stepn and Paes are good partner and are lucky too.
Leander is the lone flag bearer of indian tennis.
Do you have the clip of jack sock hitting Novak in the chest in the doubles match against Novak and Federer in the laver cup??
I’ve looked for it everywhere and I couldn’t find it
Great videos by the way 👍 keep it up 👊 #nolefam
Leander by far the best net player ever
Leander was something else in the net.
Pavel Nedved .... woahhhh
Nole👍👍👍
Which tournament is this
Peas💓
Agassi is starting to look like Robin Williams.
3:10 rafa joined for a rally. Thank me later.
Leander Paes classical all time
I spotted nedved in there 2:38
Earlier I was thinking
MEN'S doubles is very different than Women's doubles
Later -- Exhibition Match
20:42-20:51 lol
Mika Hakkinen! o.0
Mika hakkinen with Agassi!
Leander Paes will be next Bahrami
Looks like sheer animation... Both teams were standing near the net at most times...
