There are some people who don't like Djokovic. Doesn't mean they're retarded or a "lowbrow tennis fan."

He'll never be my idol. His celebrations are too cocky, in my opinion.

Big mouth, cringy, if he shuts up, his father or mother or coach or his dog will bark about RF,RN or somebody or something on behalf of him. If this is not enough, he is just a pusher overall.

I watched 5 matches of Djokovic in Cincinnati (except for the one against Johnson) and it was clear that he was still trying to get more confidence in his game despite already winning Wimbledon which honestly was a bit surprising even for him. Four of those matches were all three setters, in some of them he had to come from one set AND a break behind to win it. After he (surprisingly) beat Federer in a weird 6-4 6-4 (Roger was feeling off definitely), Novak made history and then he proved that Wimbledon was not a gift from the organizers by winning the last Grand Slam of the year dominating every opponent and his absolute peak came in China where he usually plays his best tennis. All I want to say with all of this is that 2018 may have not been the greatest season in Novak Djokovic's career, but it was certainly the most important, he learned everything he had not learned before. Here expecting for a great season of tennis in 2019!

    • @sid34193

Wimbledon was definitely not a gift and he overcame Rafa in a legendary semifinal of endurance and courage....He thrashed Fed in Cincinnati, Fed who folds up under the slightest pressure...and then won the US too. Sure he didn't play well in a lot of matches but he came good when it mattered.
