Only 3,150 miles since a ground up restoration. Excellent fit and finishes. It has some nice upgrades that make it look and perform better than original.
EXTERIOR: The fit and finish is really excellent, it even feels slick to the touch. I'm going around it for the second time now and I don't see any bubbles, cracks or damage. It is laser beam straight from the rockers to the roof. It has a clean look with no emblems and custom flush mounted door handles. A baby could open and close the doors, they are so easy. It has a raised SS hood. It has a really sharp looking deep red with tiny metal flake. The clear coat is polished like glass. The SS stripes are painted smooth. The jambs are slick, even the tailgate. Upfront everything looks new- the bumper, grills, marker lights etc. All the stainless trim around the windows straight and polished. The mirrors and all trim around the bed opening has all been replaced. Tail lights, reverse lights and rear bumper look new. The tailgate functions real nice, looks like the latches and cables are new. It has the rubber seal along the bottom. All the glass was replaced. New weatherstrips and window seals. The wheels are 17 inch with performance Nitto tires.
INTERIOR: The retro stereo is hooked up to an amp and custom speakers. It is really nice in here, the seat is exceptionally comfortable. The carpet, upholstery, door panels, headliner and visors were replaced. In front of me the dash pad, instrument panel, heater controls, vents and knobs were replaced. It has been upgraded with a set of Dakota Digital gauges. The tilt column has a Billet Specialties steering wheel. There's a retro stereo that fits in the factory hole, it also has new dash speakers, door panel speakers and an amplifier. It has power windows. Everything looks great- kick panels, mirror, the metal behind the seat is repainted.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a 350 motor upgraded with an Edelbrock intake, big dual feed Holley carburetor, HEI ignition system and a set of headers. According to the casting number the motor is a late 60s, early 70s. The front of the motor has a modern alternator, a/c, power steering and serpentine pulley system. Upgraded hydroboost power assisted brakes with stainless braided hoses. It runs cool with the big Champion aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The wiper motor looks new, washer bottle and squirters are hooked up, battery is bolted down, both horns are hooked up. The entire engine bay and under the hood is all painted the same glossy color as the car.

Nice car .. someone lied to you. 3150 miles?? Low mileage for rebuild , new paint , new suspension , new this new that new the other new new new. Nobody does that to a 3100 mile survivor car. Especially when you say they went through the 12 bolt rearend.... no reason . Dont believe it had 3100 miles .. maybe 231k ..... doesn't even have original motor. Even the rock can smell whats cookin here.

What a beautiful truck! I too, was totally unaware that such a vehicle exists!! I guess I had heard if the GMC Spring, but honestly never really knew what it was. This is awesome! The color, finish, gaps are perfect. Great find, and as always, well shown. I can't thank you enough for these excellent presentations. Thank you for sharing! Very well done. Btw, not a bad price for this truck either!

Hey "Doc" we're confused... is the shinny located between the knee and the footy?
