Only 482 miles on a complete body off frame restoration. Has a binder full of documentation. This is one of the exceptional ones. I have heard many compliments from people that know cars. It is gorgeous and functions just as well. I ran around all day with it.
EXTERIOR: Absolutely stunning surf blue color. The metal flake and the polished clear coat looks like blue chrome. It from Alabama, there is no rust or damage. The body is straight and fits right. The doors open and close like a new car. It has a metal cowl hood and a new stepside box. Jambs are painted slick. New weatherstrips and sill plates. New windshield. All new rubber gaskets around the glass. Up front the grill and bumper has been replaced. It has new emblems, handles and tail gate chains. Upgraded LED turn signals, markers and taillights. It has Halo headlights. The Chevrolet has chromed letters on the tailgate. Perfect choice of wheels. 20 inch US Mags have a semi gloss finish with gray spokes. BFGoodrich G-Force tires.
INTERIOR: The entire inside of the cab was painted the same blue as the exterior. It has a new leather upholstered seat with armrest. It has genuine leather, custom made door panels with new arm rests and billet handles. Everything on the dash is new including a sharp looking set of Dakota Digital gauges. It includes data info, tachometer and clock. New chrome instrument bezel. New retro vintage looking stereo system with Bluetooth. There are molded kick panel speakers and 6x9s in the rear corners. New Vintage Air controls are back lit, new chrome vents. New beautiful steering wheel on a tilt column. New carpet, dash pad, visors, mirror. Other extras include some nice billet pedals and retractable seat belts. It also has all new wiring harness and push in fuses.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Upgraded with a 6.0 Vortec motor. It was taken apart and given a Satge lll cam and lifters,, new high volume oil pump and new gaskets. It was dyno tuned. The exhaust manifolds are ceramic coated. It has a Spectre cold air intake. Upgraded Vintage Air heat and a/c system with polished compressor and dryer. The engine bay is all painted the same beautiful blue. It has some really nice billet hinges and stainless filler panels. The aluminium radiator with 2 big electric fans keeps it running cool. It has serpentine belt system, power steering and new alternator. The power brake system is chrome.

Jay. I don't do trucks but this is top drawer ! The colour /wheel chioce is spot on. The motor is "Adequate " as Rolls Royce would say ! The interior is immaculate and the running gear is well engineered. And the bodywork flawless . So l can't understand why it isn't sold! You couldn't build one for this price . Thanks Jay.

@@VoloMuseumAutoSales It frustrates me that people complain about the cost of a restored classic vehicle when they should think about these facts. First you have to find one in good enough condition to restore, add in the cost of buying it, restoring it yourself or having a professional restore it for you. Then add in the time to do it yourself, or the mental stress, wait, and worry for a professional to restore it for you. Considering these factors, $60,000 is a deal.
Unfortunately it costs $100,000 to restore many old classic cars now....it's crazy

Is his name Jay Rams, Grams, Rands, or what? A summer pick up that can't really be used as a pick up without destroying it. But, it looks like his best truck. But why does it whistle when turned on?
Taillights an afterthought?
So I'm curious Ed, what do you mean exactly? Most of the Stepsides within those years I've seen have the same taillights. Or are you getting at when GM built that model in the 60's and 70's, they should've came up with a better more esthetically pleasing design/location?
