I've ordered the new v2 regulator and filter, also got your stg 2.5 lpfp, fuel line upgrade, ethonal sensor and the Motiv MHD flex fuel box. When do you expect the new regulators to start shipping out?
They should be shipping soon! Just waiting on some lines to arrive and a last minute custom connector for outside the tank! We promise this is worth the wait!
What size of vacuum line does the nipple on the fpr accomodate? Trying to peice together all the miscellaneous I will need for my fuel system upgrade.
The nipple is a 4mm OD, and the barb on the end is 5mm. So a 4mm vacuum line should work well, but you could possibly do smaller just will be hard to install.
So wait, does the OEM tank or evap system have anything to plug into the vacuum nipple? Or is that something we have to route to some sort of boost reference. Or is it supposed to be plugged? Only part that’s confusing me…lol
The nipple is for 1:1 boost reference. If you don’t connect it the regulator is static 5 bar, if you connect it then it becomes 1:1 so fuel pressure increases 1psi for every 1 psi of boost. That said the DME will fight it always has, but we are looking into possible programming changes to dme to have it scale demand target 1:1 also.
So with the top line being an AN Line on this new regulator how and where would you run that to. Being that the stock fuel line on top of the regulator is like a push connect cannot you not use the oem line from the vehicle?
The top port accepts AN6 ORB, but comes with adapter pre-installed as seen in video to connect directly to factory line or any upgraded line that connects to factory assembly.
Can i use this on my 2021 GLI?
No, this won't fit that car. Only E9x/E8x BMW's
Where do I pull my vacuum reference from for the regulator? Tee it off the BOV line and run a new line back to the tank?
You can pull it off there. Not every tuner will want you to use the boost reference though.
