    We will set the PWM frequency for the solid state at 200 Hz, so that we can scale the duty for the secondary pump up as boost pressure increases. This should provide a very smooth increase. I also highly recommend that you go ahead and wire the high low canbus wires now. I can't confirm this for sure, but when I told Jake at MHD my canbus wires were already connected, he was very happy that I took the time to do that while we were talking about the MHD+ testing for my 335IS. Unfortunately, I have not seen a build for MHD+ yet, but my fingers are crossed that I will see that here in the next week or two.

    The understanding before you wire advice is so true for almost everything. Having a good understanding of all the W questions makes things so much easier when shit goes a bit south or you get a curve ball.

    Motiv reflex squad 💪🏽 no going back! Wedgeperformance the way to go. I see a lot of people complaining about the tap connectors, I run it in my car no issues if you install the things correctly and make good contact shouldn’t have a problem. Shoutout from the usa !

    I just bought the same phoenix intake plenum. A split sec with Hobbs switch will only kick the secondary pump on at what ever psi the Hobbs switch is. You can also hook up the AIC to a tach signal to, so I understand? I might wait these control boxes are more developed. Oh and for piece of mind, it doesn’t matter where you put the fuel line on that rail, from middle of back. That fuel pressurizes that rail & that’s it! When those injectors start firing off that fuel is pressurizing that rail. So no need to worry about that at all. Keep up the good work…👍🏻🏁

    Dope video that will definitely help with my instal. I’m putting a list of all the parts I need to go PI using the MR+(motive reflex plus) for my N54 but there is just one thing I don’t understand. I’m aware that MR+ has a feature that allows it to smartly manage the secondary LPFP but I’m not sure how it sends the signal to it.
    I currently have my secondary LPFP running of a 10bar boost pressure sensor but I’d like to fully take advantage of the MR+ features.
    So how would one send the power/signal from the MR+ to the secondary pump and is there maybe a link to the parts I would need?

    I cam tell you the MOTIV flexfuel tune with MHD adds logic in the DME outside of the map partition.... they did something pretty crazy to make that work.

    Great video again! My Reflex is ready to install as well. Question can you log the PI fuel rail pressure now in datazap same as the DI rail pressure? I haven't seen a log from a car equipped with a reflex.

      Not yet, however once MHD+ is working you should be able to do. I get a message after this video went live, telling me to connect the canbus wires now, so it can't be too far away.

      Tbh I think the lite has that too. However the 3 sensors are used a the reflex knows which cylinder is firing.

    I have the first version reflex harness OG. Has plug and play ethanol sensor but not reading accurately (100% all the time) any idea what i need to do to have it reading. No extra wires. Only the canbus..n54 car thanks in advance

      I honestly had no idea that they had them running through canbus on the early ones. Canbus is by far the most accurate way to send data around the car. Better than an analogue voltage signal, so i cant really comment on why its not accurate. You may be able to add some sort of smoothing to the calculation with in the reflex. Definitely worth speaking with motiv, the reflex is infinitely adjustable by those guys with firmware changes so they should be able to sort it out.

    Do you need to run a larger fuel feed line if using E85 with port injection? The wiring part all makes sense to me, otherwise. Nice work, Andrew!

      I’m running 6an from the tank forwards. However the current restriction is the factory fuel reg. That’s gotta go at some point. However we should see nearly 800whp with this setup

    I ended up using Deutsch Connector’s instead of using the other connectors mostly because embarrassingly as many times I have taken the car apart n put it back together

    I'm dealing with a tuner issue. They can't figure out my gear log. I'm on n54 mt6 and my logs are showing 5th gear when I'm actually in third gear. I'm looking for a base tune that I can adjust and tweak and play with around the transmission settings to figure it out. Any thoughts?

      Unfortunately that’s something the tuner should be able to assist with.
      To my knowledge the manuals calculate gear based on rpm and wheel speed. So something in the map is wrong, or wheel speed the dme is seeing is not correct.

    Regulators on PFI also have vacuum line to manifold to vary pressure due to vacuum and boost.

      @@stevesas4744 Im not sure what you have to pay for regulator and return line system. But here it's a lot more than the single sensor you need to buy to make the reflex do it.

    I installed the reflex plus following this video. I am however trying to figurr out the mac solenoid install. Can i leave with the oem plug or should i splice into the reflex? If so, do i use the grey aux and the orange for voltage? What tune map do i use for a doc race bottom mount as i wait for a tuner

      You need to get all that info from your tuner. Because he will configure which aux out put controls boost. I tapped in to the wiring in the stock harness that goes to the front stock actuator.

      @@ZeroTo60Tube i wired mine the same way as yours. I wired the white aux for boost control in the dme and i wired the mac solenoid to the grey aux. I wired the 12v from the mac to the red wire pin 1 on the reflex. Jake then helped me make sure everything was wired correctly and working. Thank you for your response.     Mine doesn’t have the green wire from the flex it has the yellow grey and white wire but not the green one. It does have the green and yellow wire that is twisted but not the shorter green one that comes straight out of the reflex box.

    Having any issues with the downpipe? I decided to be silly and do a 3.5" downpipe and it's equally as close on my car lol. Almost done building the whole hot side, just tying into my 3.5" exhaust now.

      This very close at a few points but it does clear, you can get a 3.5” dump in to a Rhd if you don’t have the equal length manifold.

      If you are running OTS maps, the flex will work with out a custom tune.

    Just a question.Is meth via charge pipe an option,or is it cool enough with the ethanol/e85 ? I do have it With my twin pures,really good during hot weather/intake temps.I know you get a fair bit hotter over there in OZ.👍

      Yeah, it seems meth is of no advantage on a street car with e85. When you think about it, i have never seen a race/drag car, that runs ethanol use meth on top. I have seen a few dyno queens tho.

    What forum are you going to to get information on the ReFlex? I emailed Motiv over a week ago with some general inquiries and they haven’t responded. Also the phone number on their site rings to voicemail and then says the voicemail isn’t set up. I want to run this on my car but not being able to get ahold of anyone who works there is concerning.

The members are huge help to keep us being able to make videos and they are really decent group of guys with a serious issue with spending way to much money cars..... it great support group to be fair. Ken from wedge has been a member since August last year and he is a genuine car dude that likes helping people go fast, also his insider knowledge on developments for N54 MHD platform is crazy, its almost like he does all the mapping :P

      It’s simply a supplemental fuel and a boost controller. So can be used on any car that needs extra fuel.

      @@ZeroTo60Tube I can not connect to the firmware update. Either motiv doesn’t work or doesn’t get power. Or my laptop is not recognizing the connection. I put car in accessory mode. Plug it in and still says disconnected on bootloader. Also have the correct usb cable and nothing

      @@ZeroTo60Tube nothing happens because the computer doesn’t recognize motiv when I plug in. Updated drivers and still nothing. I plug in any other device it shows or makes the notification sound that something has been plugged in. With motiv my laptop does nothing

      @@ZeroTo60Tube I had issue and a few others have where the taps don’t seat correctly and interrupts the crank sensor. One of my taps didn’t even completely seat into the cam signal.

      I had the same issue’s Motiv was logged in an we struggled trying to figure out why everything wasn’t communicating constantly..Mine ended up being inconsistent ground..which I eventually ran to the front fender well ground lug.
