    Hello, hey I’m having the same problem with my bmw but when buying the fuel regulator there’s some that cost around $45 but I saw you said yours was about $175 what’s the difference, if any please let me know 🤙🏼

    I’ve been dealing with P0171 and P0174 codes (system too lean) on my e90 335i for a year now! Even the dealership can’t find the solution. Do you think my fuel system would be a problem? I mean to ask if the system is too lean because not even fuel delivery??

    thanks for showing. my 325ci (r.i.p) had a fuel leak and had to get it repaired twice. after that my baby needed to much work. the fuel leak repair was 1200.00 at bmw. after seeing all you had to do i kinda see why it was such a high repair. I am 10k happy miles on my 328xi no probs.

    I would like to know what were the symptoms to change your regulator because my card at high rpm cuts and turns on the engine light indicating failure to deliver fuel is the problem or hpfp

    • @berfboybrumley5616
      @berfboybrumley5616 Před 4 lety

      Francisco Goncalves I get the same exact light at high rpm and I’ve been wondering what it’s been this whole time as well. I just learned my regulator is bad so maybe that is the problem and were in the same boat. Also you will know the regulator is bad if you smell fuel from the drivers rear seat area

  • @exzirr
    @exzirr Před 5 lety +1

    My $.02... I tied a string to each hose when I removed them one at a time. Then I tied the string to the end of the tube and fished the tubes back with tension on the tube. i.e. pull on the tube before you feed it threw.

    I have a 2007 bmw 328i and my valve cover gasket is leaking already verified I need a new valve cover gasket. And when I drive my car for a while and park it the back driver side tire smells like gas. Nothing is leaking. Could it be a gas leak? Or just the valve cover gasket?

      infinitely better than the third gen camaro I own which you either have to cut a hole in the chassis or drop the rear end and fuel tank. Pain in the ass when GM could've made an access hole easily.

      Bimmerbabe sounds like one of your fuel pumps is bad not the regulator. If it was under heavy load probably high pressure if it was intermittent it was probably low pressure
