- This is the offroad RAV4 video you haven't been waiting for, and here it is. A 3200+ mile road trip to go up the toughest mountain passes that a crossover can handle and I had time for. Ophir Pass. Engineer Pass. Cinnamon Pass. Corkscrew Pass. The Alpine Loop. Real offroading. Real scary moments. Real stuff. Seriously though, this lil car got me through some rough trails comfortably, efficiently, and without damage. That's a win. I also forgot my microphone like an idiot and GoPro mics are poopoo so most of it is just music :(

As someone who just bought a 2024 Trail/Adventure, it's nice to see how capable these little cars can be.
I have a 2020 RAV4. For owning a RAV4 for 2 years. I have been to the rocky hills of AZ and to NC beaches. I have found that the RAV4 well, It just works.
I am glad you are showing Rav4 doing a little off roading. I was so set on a rav4, but it’s not capable for what I need I’m glad I got talked out of it,but I still do love the rav4 it’s my favorite suv all around. I decided to go with a 4Runner whenever the redesign comes out. That Subaru really impressed me.

Nice to watch the Rav4 on that terrain, it really held up great. You should invest in a skid plate to protect your oil pan. Your Rav looks great.

A buddy of mine ran that trail a few years ago in his Montero. Those are some amazing and beautiful views. It's a bucketlist to run that trail in the future. Great video!

What model Rav do you have?
Would a hybrid do as well or is there a big difference in the awd systems?
The Adventure and TRD have different AWD systems than the other models in that they use torque vectoring that can send power to any wheel that has grip. The other models use wheel braking. That said, a hybrid with good tires and potentially a lift would probably be just fine
Is the rav suspension stock? Or has a lift ?

No it did not struggle
I love Subaru but I have to admit there was a good amount of times it was struggling @@HarukiYamamoto 6:45, 15:07, 17:08, and some other areas. No car is perfect. All cars will have it's challenges.
