Heal Clip or Explosive Payload?

I have 5 rolls of the slideshot/magnificent howl. However that’s not my God Roll. Yesterday I got a slide shot/opening shot with max range (full bore or hammer forge rifling…richot rounds…range masterwork (71 range to match Not Forgotten’s range). This is the true god roll with a range of 96 when slideshot and opening shot procs!)
Already have 1k+ pve kills in the last 3 days on my Heal Clip + Incandescent roll. Got me through Pantheon weeks 1 and 2 with ease.
Please for any guardians out there this I amazing roll and he’s 1000% right. DO NOT listen to Maven as she is crappin all over Lunas Howl whilst refusing to change her Strand subclass to make Lunas shine like any bright person would do to match the guns energy type. SO SAD seeing creators crap on a gun because they’re so set in their ways of playing a certain subclass and having New Light Guardians believe it’s trash because she doesn’t like anything other than Strand like that’s idiocy
Finally I got the roll but not loving it compared to other heal/incandescent guns just feels slow paced

Managed to get an heal clip / incandescent roll on a shiny since was grinding for this 💪 lol and yeah been using the hc from neomuna but this roll replaced it

@scottricks1676 it was a weapon with 4 perks that we can enhanced in final shape but can't get them anymore just the regular rolls

Adter i got the heal clip incandescent Luna's Howl roll, and at first, it felt strange
BUT after playing with it more
I got used to it and boy does it feel so MUCH better than i expected

Have a heal clip/incandescent roll on both Luna and Igneous Hammer. Both are disgustingly filthy. Iggy reaches farther (gives you a little more breathing room). But the origin trait on Luna using a solar subclass makes this even better.
I have both as well and my igneous feels so much better at range but that 30 reload is ruff
got a shiny heal clip/incandescent, i like the recoil pattern much better on it, zaoulis is very good as well but me on controller just feels good, has enlightened action and magnificent howl as well

Heliocentric with this roll has been my favorite weapon in pve for this reason. Now im tryna get a howl.

Keep grinding. It's totally different. I got the roll yesterday. Heal clip and incandescent with range. The difference here is that with the hand cannon u have so much more range than the side arm and u can pick ure kills rather than the side arm where u go for the closest red bar enemy

Lets be real though the extended range of explosive payload is not why most people run it in PvE. It's the free extra damage you get on every shot. If you have 2 rolls of the same weapon, and one has explosive payload and the other doesn't, the one with explosive payload will always do more damage.
Luna has its niche, but Bane is still the way to go if you care more about raw damage.
Higher reload speed is key to using Heal clip.
Ugh I haven’t gotten the roll I want on anything yet! Now I have more to grind for.

Got the god roll but it was rolled with reload speed over handling snd it handles slower than i want but the faster reload does help wirh heal clip so its conflicting

@@IanEvolution really is like the reload comes clutch for survival with heal clip but swapping back to it and Ads'ing with 35 handling is SLOW
Luna is the shit to many haters in this game grow up
heal clip with hunter dodge reload feels like cheating, one dodge reload after a kill with Lunas can proc so much.. Heal self and teammates nearby, proc benevolence, picks up nearby orbs with powerful attraction. Those orbs can feed into surges or abilities and the obvious super energy, the dodge itself can also feed into abilities thx to class item mods or proc reaper. Ember of singeing (for class ability) and Ember of searing (for melee ability) combined with benevolence gives even more insane ability regen since you are radiant and scorching things so easily.
I see pve value with heal clip kill clip, you is reloading for heal clip anyways might as well get the 25% damage, hitting for 20k is pretty good
Until exotics get nerfed, sunshot will be my choice. The 40% is too good. Plus it’s scorch is way better then incandescent

I’m typically running izi, arbalest, or an exotic heavy weapon unless I’m playing onslaught so these weapons are perfect for me. But sunshot is wonderful lmao.
@@Flo-zj9tg I like pairing an exotic with my subclass. So energy exotics have a lot more use to me. There’s very good competitive craftable and non crafts that go in heavy and kinetic slots. Those exotics you mentioned I can get similar numbers with supremacy, scatter signal, or mountain top. Still I guess they have their uses at times
True. but if you want to run benevolence, Lunas Howl with heal clip/incandescent is amazing. If you run HOIL benevolence stacks with your base regen from your exotic. Makes HOIL feel the OG version
Got one let me just posit if you have a helocentric It does all this & it does much faster. healclip incandescant helo is to PvE what healclip killclip helo is to PvP. Shit has to be really far out for me to consider another legendary primary in that slot for any other reason & in that case I just go special weapon.
i use healing grenades on my lucky pants build and i rock a demo mountain top with either zhaolis or epochal so i don't have room to squeeze in benevolence and since i get my grenade back in two kills with a primary i dont need regen, something to consider if you get it from another source why waste the perk slot, subsistence or slideshot is going to be better for either range or bottomless mag

Luna’s is great in in level content, for anything above that Zaoli’s is still better.

Heal clip is good but, in harder content, Luma’s Howl does not provide enough punch to make it worth using. Just see how many shots you need to kill a yellow bar dreg (your video).
Thats just for “the video” yellow bars are getting the special treatment in any content my guy
Yellow bar dregs is Boss class enemy. 😅 Zauoli also can't kill yellow bar dregs fast.
healclip + incandescant is the "goat" imho also, haven't got that roll yet, only seperate perks, the grind is going onsubbed, btw
