I’d rather use a primary or special weapon matching my heavy weapon’s element so that surges during add clear also boost my add clear speed. Then there’s no hassle with swapping armour, and if you’re the one on well just get a teammate to throw on the helmet mod that gives teammates armour charge when they pick up orbs.

for your solar hunter what do you usually us as far as exotics and armor mods

Either nighthawk or star eaters, for running mods i use recuperation and better already with a scavenger on legs, then swap to the damage surges for damage

On hunter and titan, I don't typically have this problem because heavy handed. However, this *is* very useful for warlocks.
