You can loosen/tighten the axle nut once the rotors and calipers are on by blocking the rotor through the vents with a screwdriver....

Thanks for the video. I might take the skid plate off before I take the seal out tho lol. These videos are one of the many reasons we shop on 1a. I haven't had one problem yet and we have gotten alot of parts there from lower control arms to rear springs. Great parts supplier!

This is the only film on youtube on how to install the seal in the knuckle! Thank you also for the advise w/silicon pasta, but I can't understand how it can keep the spring rings fm falling out, it is just pasta. I forgot to put it on before the installation of the seal. Should I put it on still? Does it prevent from moisture? Thank you for a great film.

Is it necessary to replace the seal if only the spring in it has come loose? I went to install my cv axle and saw the seal spring hanging loose.

This guy used punch on every rubber seal he came across lol. How about run to home depot and pick up a few 2 feet long, 2” & 3” OD pvc pipe and keep them in your toolbox. This is why i do all maintenance and repair on my own vehicles.

Jesus, I'm not one to leave negative comments much but find a less blunt object to take that cap off and if you need to put a bar on the studs put lug nuts on first so you don't ruin the threads. Axle nut is 35mm on stock axle.

This is most definitely NOT the correct way to do this job on the slightest, nor does he even know the part #’s of what he’s puting back in to answer the replies to his videos when their in his frigging hand!! Unbelievable!! Do not do it this way or you’ll be sorry. So many other clear videos on here of how to do this the correct NON INBRED way. Unbelievable. Smh 🤦

100% agree, I was able to use a large socket that fit over the seal and I was able to tap it in that way (after adding a little bit of oil to lube it up), being a repair shop he should have access to multiple sized sockets that would have worked

This is an awful video with poor instructions. That’s not how you should install the steering knuckle seal or the diff seal and he does a ton of steps out of order. There are other videos showing a far easier install and removal process than this one. Please go watch those.
