    Hi
This car Peugeot came to me with the engine light on, very under powered, and if pulled over 3.5-4k RPMs, would go into limp mode..
A few things wrong with it, and ultimately, found both, the problem, and what caused the broken part to fail...
Follow me on this video to find out what was the problem and how to resolve it.
    Hope you enjoy the video.

There were some things I wanted to write but in the end you did a fine job Luis and didn´t change anything that wasn´t necessary . The non comm with the ECU was a bit strange but than again , it has happened to me also . With a charger connected weird things and with a new battery all OK . Never second guessed it .

one thing I have seen a few times now with the THP prince engine that is a easy fix but hard to find and the symptoms are very similar to this the air pipe to the throttle body pushes itself off and because it is held in place by the bolts on the plastic part of the pipe every thing seems to be ok until the turbo kicks in and pushes the pipe away from the throttle body

In some cases. If the EGR is stuck open and it's mounted on the high pressure side, any boost will just blow out the exhaust. Also, if the EGR doesn't work properly, the filters downstream (cat or DPF) can get clogged and this would cause the turbo not to spool.

The videos length is dependent on the problem...
Simple problems are usually shorter videos, bigger or more complicated problems, longer videos...

Peugeots. This one from video is not that bad.
I can remember first 1.6 hdi 16v diesel engines. They was so bad designed and everything fails on these engines. Turbo, oil dillution, dpf, egr, injectors... you name it

All Prince series engine's are garbage not helped by the owners neglecting even the most basic maintenance but the amount I see with timing chain failure running faults carboned up or with HPFP failure is ridiculous.

Where to take time to work in night shift, repair cars and make videos for CZcams? Do you have 25 hours in your day? 😁
Is it a secret what is your another job?

I just can't understand why does high level specialist not work in proper conditions? Why do you have to work outside in the rain, frost and etc.? In my country you can easily rent or buy a garage and work in it.
      You deserve better working conditions!
