Tamiya Jagdtiger (Hunting Tiger) 1/35 scale motorized retrofit

Revisit a past build, Tamiya 1/35 scale Jagdtiger (Hunting Tiger). My attempt to retrofit R/C motors.

Built several of these as a kid. Finally got to see the real thing at Aberdeen eighteen years ago. Absolutely huge!

This is awesome. Not sure what the solution is to the jerky response of the RC unit, but this is the coolest revisit yet. Is the next one is going to shoot bbs ?

Brave of you to have such a drastic retrofit like that. That's a big job. Too bad it's not working perfectly. As for going from 3V to 6V on the transmitter and receiver, did not not get a specification or data sheet for those? Hope you get it working smoothly.
