Nice - wow! Super compact.
To make the FS-7 cable even more compact - have a look at a camera DSLR mic cable (mini jack with springy cable) and a pair of mini jack to 1/4 adapters.
That’s what i use now and it’s nice and tight. 👍🏻
why the springy cable specifically? Any advantage to it?

Hi Ben, here is a head scratcher.
I'm using a Morningstar MC6 Mkii to control the assign features of my RC-500 like this:
• ASSIGN1 Turn on drum PART1 ON/OFF
• ASSIGN2 Alternate between rhythm patterns FUNK3 & LATINBEAT3
• ASSIGN3 Tap Tempo
• ASSIGN4 All tracks and rhythm ON/OFF
• ASSIGN5 Clear all Tracks
• ASSIGN6 Rhythm(only) ON/OFF
So far everything is working except ASSIGN2. When I tap the button to change from one rhythm pattern to the other, the RC-500 stops & then the previously saved patterns are changed to "SimpleBeat1" & "Blank".
How can I get the RC-500 to recall the saved patterns? Thank you in advance
I've also been having this problem. For me, the second pattern only goes blank once I've recorded a loop, so I suspect it's a flaw with the RC-500 in that it can't change patterns once it's "locked into" a loop.
I would love to be corrected!
