    Hi JeeWee, dank voor je videos! Ik zal verder gaan in Engels ;-). Thanx for the videos about the RC -500. I got myself a RC-500 since last week, and just playing with it to see what it can do. Your videos are very helpful. Next step I have to make is to set this up with my Boss GT-1000. But there are some issues. My GT-1000 is connected with 2 XLR cables to the FOH and with 1 jack cable to my Headrush 108 FRFR on stage monitor. So the FOH gets a stereo signal from my GT-1000 and I have myself a mono signal through my Headrush on stage. This allows me to adjust the volume on stage of my Headrush without effecting the FOH volume. Very useful.
    But... if I want to bring in the RC-500? Where to put it? Best for me should be that my guitar signal is first going through my RC-500, and then to my GT-1000 because then I can keep my FOH and stage setting as it is. But when my guitar goes first through the RC-500, and then through my GT-1000,.. I think I cannot use the GT-1000 effects anymore ... I guess.
    Or, maybe make a Send/Return loop in my GT-1000? DO you have any advice for me? Thanx in advance.

    • @JeeWeeDonkers
      @JeeWeeDonkers Před 4 měsíci

      Graag gedaan jongen!
      My suggestion would be to put the RC500 in the effects loop of the GT1000. Like that, you can keep your output routing as it is to FOH and your monitors.
      Key is to put the loop after your guitar amp modelling to prevent unwanted distortion in the drum sounds and stacked loops.

    How do you fade out one loop and start another....thanks

    • @JeeWeeDonkers
      @JeeWeeDonkers Před 8 měsíci +1

      You can fade out a loop by choosing the Track (1 or 2) scroll to STOP and select FADE OUT. The amount of measures of the fade out can be set via MEMORY - PLAY - FADE TIME.
      Before starting a new loop the old one (including tempo) needs to be cleared, you can do that with holding the stop button for two seconds. In this foot stomp setup this is not necessary, you just tap the new tempo and then start the rhythm.

    • @JeeWeeDonkers
      @JeeWeeDonkers Před 10 měsíci

      This might have to do with the volume settings of the rhythm.I have experienced this in similar ways.
      The volume value is an absolute value, not a percentage. If your standard level is 50, then the boosted level should be 80 or so. If however your rhythm level is normally set at 100, switching to 80 will give you a volume drop. So check you normal rhythm volume and boost volume settings carefully.

    • @sleepytaff
      @sleepytaff Před 10 měsíci +1

      @@JeeWeeDonkers hi thanks for the reply. I think I have sorted a work around. After saving all of the settings to a patch, for some reason the volume of the kick only has gone to 68. So after starting the patch I re adjusted the rhythm level to 50 and re saved, this has solved the issues. 😎

      Boss offers the RC600 with six track looping. But then again, how many bridges do you play in a song? Enough to have to record and play them back? I usually record/play a verse and a chorus and play the bridge (usually one per song) live, either with or without a rhythm part from the drum machine. This will get you through 99% of live looping songs.

      ...OK. I know that the TimeShift function of the RC500 is not really a big hit. So I thought it was the RC500.
      But in fact, here's what happened:
      When I listened to your video, I set the playback speed to 75% - because I don't speak English very well and you talk much too fast for me. Then I deliberately forgot that I had slowed down the tempo. Even when your music started, I didn't remember. But I did notice that the sound was really crappy.... But not because of you or the RC500, but because the slowing-down algorithm of YT made the sound so bad. And I blamed that on you (at first). May I herewith very officially blame myself to straighten it out?
      ...so, now I'm going to the cellar... 🥴
