Mine Walmart neighborhood store has all the make up in locked cases and you have to ask an employee to open it for you. It’s a drag but it keeps from losing product due to theft or tampering.

I danced all through grade school and still get to do at college, but the urban decay all night we setting spray and the elf camo concealer were always my go tos for long wearing. Love your videos and your genuineness! They’ve really helped me feel less scared of applying makeup!! I recommended the NYX concealer! I’m 42 years old, and my mom loves it, too. It’s great for more mature skin… not drying and doesn’t settle into fine lines. Love you and your videos!! ♥️
A ColourPop palette that definitely deserves more love (though Jen Phelps is trying!) is their Lust for Dusk palette. It's an interesting palette of...basically nudes? It has a mix of cool and warm tones that edge into colors a bit and turns out such interesting looks! It's my favorite palette of all the palettes I've tried in the past two years at least.
All the makeup at my Walmart is locked up so very rarely have that problem. Just trying to get someone to open the case is the problem. Your daughters adorable.
I'm shocked by that foundation. My mom had told me years ago that CoverGirl was becoming more mature skin friendly. She worked at FEMA and some of those older ladies had to out in 12 to 14 hour work days when they were in disaster mode. Mom always wore Loreal foundation you can buy it in their website only and it has a red cap. That stuff is great coverage for old acne scarring and doesn't budge. However, her friend Kay who is 8 years older than mom,mom is 72 and Kay is 80, still working at FEMA, Kay says that the Cover Girl line for older skin has changed. She swore up and down last Christmas that some of their products were hydrating and stays in all day long. I was kind of skeptical because CoverGirl was always a brand for younger women with oily skin and not very high end. A great beginners line. But.... I'm starting to wonder. Loved the look thanks for the info on the foundation.
I have been loving the Maybelline vinyl ink! They are so good and do a really good job of lasting without feeling dry and the best part to me is that you can reapply easily and it doesn’t get chunky the way other “stay all day” lip products do, so when you need to refresh it looks great all over again!

I like the firmer tipped liquid liners. I have hooded eyes so I can apply liner holding it vertical like a windshield wiper and work through the bottom of my lashes and get a thin line that doesn’t smear when I blink.

They’re part of your life and you never make them out to be an inconvenience or try to hide their existence. I love that you normalize the motherhood/work juggle and how holistically you treat your children as people. Always love the wholesome content on your channel, Em! ❤

I really like the L.A. Girl Pro Primer Eyeshadow Stick. It's very easy to use and can be spread out. And I love Catrice's Cheek Lover Oil-Infused Blush. (You recommended that.) The color is beautiful and I reach for it quite often considering I have a ton of blushes. I have e.l.f.'s Power Grip Primer and keep it in my travel case. For everyday, I use Milk's Hydrogrip.😊
I love your Drugstore recommendations. Prices at the drugstore have been going up over the years and it's become harder for me to find lower cost, good quality products as of late. With my hyper-sensitive, eczema prone dry face I need to find things that work, period. It's amazing how most of the mid-high price point base products are too drying and scented for me to use regularly. The biggest issue for me is that I'm allergic to chemical sunscreens so when the drugstore brands always add sunscreen to the foundations, I can't use them. :(.... But watching your videos has helped me find fabulous budget friendly products! n that spirit I'd like to share my drugstore options below. My current favorite drugstore foundation is the Wet n Wild Bare Focus Tinted Hydrator. That gives me the best coverage (don't be fooled by the name this can be built up to full coverage!) and actually gives me a healthy glow during this cold NYC weather. For my brows, if you like skinny pencils, look to the LA Girl Shady Slim Brow Pencil (soft brown for me as a perfect shade to my auburn hair) and for concealer the NYX Serum concealer is fabulous. Physician's Formula face palettes are a perfect option for me as they are Talc Free, which I've noticed any powder products with Talc tend to dry me out and at times triggers the eczema on my eyelids and lash lines. My favorite if the Butter Dream Team Palette. For mascara, there are some great options like the Essence No More Panda Eyes and Revlon Smudge proof mascara in plum brown or brown for everyday looks. Finally, for eyes I love the cream shadows like Maybelline Color Tattoo in Knockout and Urbanite, Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in Iced Mocha, Iced Latte, and Frappe, and finally Revlon ColorStay Creme Shadow in Espresso and Black Currant.
Agreed!! Also allergic to chem sunscreens. As well as skin cancer survivor. Why ruin products to give people a false sense of security, as protection will not be achieved without absolutely caking foundation on!!! I feel your frustration!

Wet n wild has a good skinny brow pencil too. It's usually my go to because it's affordable and works just as well as high ends brands.

I really like the L.A. Girl Pro Primer Eyeshadow Stick. It's very easy to use and can be spread out. And I love Catrice's Cheek Lover Oil-Infused Blush. (You recommended that.) The color is beautiful and I reach for it quite often considering I have a ton of blushes. I have e.l.f.'s Power Grip Primer and keep it in my travel case. For everyday, I use Milk's Hydrogrip.😊
I love your Drugstore recommendations. Prices at the drugstore have been going up over the years and it's become harder for me to find lower cost, good quality products as of late. With my hyper-sensitive, eczema prone dry face I need to find things that work, period. It's amazing how most of the mid-high price point base products are too drying and scented for me to use regularly. The biggest issue for me is that I'm allergic to chemical sunscreens so when the drugstore brands always add sunscreen to the foundations, I can't use them. :(.... But watching your videos has helped me find fabulous budget friendly products! n that spirit I'd like to share my drugstore options below.
My current favorite drugstore foundation is the Wet n Wild Bare Focus Tinted Hydrator. That gives me the best coverage (don't be fooled by the name this can be built up to full coverage!) and actually gives me a healthy glow during this cold NYC weather.
For my brows, if you like skinny pencils, look to the LA Girl Shady Slim Brow Pencil (soft brown for me as a perfect shade to my auburn hair) and for concealer the NYX Serum concealer is fabulous.
Physician's Formula face palettes are a perfect option for me as they are Talc Free, which I've noticed any powder products with Talc tend to dry me out and at times triggers the eczema on my eyelids and lash lines. My favorite if the Butter Dream Team Palette.
For mascara, there are some great options like the Essence No More Panda Eyes and Revlon Smudge proof mascara in plum brown or brown for everyday looks.
Finally, for eyes I love the cream shadows like Maybelline Color Tattoo in Knockout and Urbanite, Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in Iced Mocha, Iced Latte, and Frappe, and finally Revlon ColorStay Creme Shadow in Espresso and Black Currant.
Agreed!! Also allergic to chem sunscreens. As well as skin cancer survivor. Why ruin products to give people a false sense of security, as protection will not be achieved without absolutely caking foundation on!!! I feel your frustration!
