I've been eyeing that Loreal tinted serum foundation for awhile now. So many people rave about it but it's so expensive for drug store. And idk why but I'll spend $40 on a high end foundation but once a drugstore foundation goes over like $12 I'm like ooh that's too much. Lol 😆
Me too 😂. At the drugstore I’m like, “ABSOLUTELY NOT! They’ve lost their minds.” Like, stay in your lane, drugstore.
I totally get where you’re coming from on that. But L’Oréal performs better then high end in my opinion so I will always buy them! There products never disappoint! And the serum foundation is apparently a dupe for the Nars Radiant light reflecting foundation. Or whatever it’s called!
I solved the cheap packaging of my Rimmel Stay Matte powder. I ordered a vintage Stratton compact for pressed powder off eBay. it's easy to depot the Stay Matte and it fits right in the Stratton compact perfectly
Also it fits in a Max Factor crème puff vintage compact!!
I bought an old early 50s compact and it’s beautiful!! Fits perfectly!

I remember loving WnW Walking on Eggshells so much when it was the 3-pan version! And I agree, WnW Nude Awakening is a must have. I typically prefer high-end palettes but I still enjoy that one. I bring it when I travel because it covers all the basics and I'm not going to get upset if I lose it because I can easily replace it. Thank you for all that you do, Emily!

Emily , do a video on a makeup look for very tired faces. I need it and probably other people can relate that some days we just haven't got sleep or rest and we need maybe certain makeup tweaks in the morning. I'm 59 and now feeling like I look so tired even after getting my foundation and concealer on. Also a video on how to easily remove mascara. I'm finding it hard to remove my mascara fully for some reason and it's not waterproof. It ends up irritating my eyes when I use oil based removal products. I wish I knew a better way.
Lancôme makes an incredible liquid eye makeup remover that melts away any type of mascara. When you look at the cotton pad you use, you can actually see the fibers in the mascara. I have extremely sensitive eyes, but this product does not burn mine. A little pricey but absolutely worth it. I buy the larger $40 bottle and it lasts for many months.
Amen! The brush companies need to listen to you. I have purchased so many brush sets thinking I’d get the right ones. So many sets come with too many random brushes and not the ones we need. Someone else commented this…make your own set! We’ll all buy it!

One thing I've always LOVED about you is you're genuineness. I love that you literally are getting ready for the day with us often with rollers in your hair and no jewelry. I can't stand watching videos and seeing people put on foundations and stuff with earrings on specially the people who put make up on their ears. Makes me cringe. Jewelry is always the last thing I do. I shower, make up, clothes, hair, then jewelry. That's my routine. That's how my mom and aunts do it, and it's how my Nanny does it. Jewelry gets dirty enough as it is I can't imagine how nasty their jewelry gets wearing it while putting on make up. 😬
We need flat brushes … I agree… but honestly guys - the eyeshadow sponges from the olden days are a good tool! 🤓😊👍 As good or sometimes better than a flat brush!!!

This product isn't on your list today, but I wanted to tell you and everyone else about the Neutrogena Hydro Boost consealer in the silver bullet (like a lipstick). It has the moisturizing core. I've had mine for awhile, but wasn't using it alot because I have oily, sweaty skin around my eyes. Unless I remembered to use the Milani eyeshadow primer under my lower lash line and alittle lower, it would turn messy. Now, after getting some age on it and drying out abit, it's *WoNdeRfuL*! It's not building up in my creases but staying smooth! I do set with a bit of powder because today is my b-day-another year of getting old! 64! I'm careful to not use alot of powder. In fact, I should probably try not using any. The moisture core keeps my eye area from looking dry. So happy I didn't throw it away. I think I'll buy another one and by the time I finish with this tube, hopefully, the new one will be ready to use!

My under glow product for my 58 year old skin has been “Hello Good Stuff” Glow serum primer by Essence. I can usually use it as a primer or mixed with my foundation or even on a no makeup day a last step in face moisturizer, and my regular serums.

ELF has a wonderful and super cheap small, flat eye shadow brush! I bought a few at Kohls for $2 each! And they wear so well!
They also have a slightly larger “C shape” flat eye shadow brush for just $5.
You have the perfect eyes for eyeshadow 😍 and the 2 maybelline crayons you showed for your girls' costume looks match your headband
I am artist and sometimes use an art brush when no make up brush fits the bill...soft ones for watercolor usually the best. Craft stores carry them.

I AGREE WITH BRUSH SETS!!. I don't know how many times in my life I have put brush sets in my cart, but got so frustrated when I have to add standard brushes. It starts to get so expensive, that I get frustrated and just decide to not even buy anything. Great observation.

Run mascara and brow tube under hot water or steep in a cup of hot water. This will reinvigorate the dried up product and you can use for a bit longer
Oh my gosh what a great family picture! I've been using NYX powder foundation and banana setting powder for years and I love them both. I need to try the no filter finishing powder cause Houglass is way up there in price. And yes I do love the look!

I agree with you on the flat shader brushes. It's a bit expensive but the MAC brush sets usually contain a flat shader brush i.e. 239 brush. I got the big size 239 brush individually and the small 239 included in a MAC brush set so I can have both sizes. Very useful brush that I use everyday

I purchased the L’Oréal Glotion based on your content. I have light and deep. The light adds radiance and I mix the dark with my lotion or with MAC Face and Body and adds a bit of realistic bronzed glow to my light skin. I love it.

You can train your cats to come when you call, my cat is an indoor outdoor cat as we have no wild animals here in Ireland but you can get them to come to you if you call their name and give them a treat when they come near you as they get the idea you can do longer distances like when their upstairs so that way if they get out when you don't want them to they will come back to your call.
they are starting to come when I call their names - so cool! Especially Biscuits. She really takes note when I talk at all, but if I call for her or just "kittens" -she usually comes! :D Hopefully that will work if she would happen to get out again. They are just completely unfamiliar with the outdoors so it's a shock.

you should come out with your own line of brushes. you are bang on about the flas brush. i felt this way when i got my first urban decay 3 palette the rose colored palatte. that came with one end of the dual brush having a flat brush. the palette is long gone but I kept that brush for that flat end, lol

I'm back into sponge tip applicators for those shades that need intensity. Applies intensity like a finger, but greater precision and less hardpan. I bought a bag of at least a hundred of them from Amazon and I will never use them all. They shall pass down to my daughter, and my daughter's daughters, and their daughters beyond them. 😄

YES totally agree with your eyeshadow brush kit opinion. I am also tired of seeing the eyeliner brush or flat foundation brush in brush kits; if those brushes are in a kit, then I won't buy it.

Gorgeous blush color. From DS I love the Soap & Glory one heck of a blot primer. I have oily, acne prone, textured skin. Its very smoothing and helps with oil control. I really dont need glow 🙂. I apply primer with flat foundation brushes so idk how it would work with fingers though.

I live in Hawaii and visited my son and fam on the mainland this summer. I found I packed too minimal a makeup kit and actually bought those two Wet and Wild eye palettes. Surprisingly, I really liked them and they are still in my rotation. That bronzey shade really works well with my skin color. Recommend!
My favorite middle ground foundation is Revlon candid foundation and super goop matte screen sunscreen under it.
Hi em. I feel the same way about brush sets. I've held off on buying some bc their so called eyeshadow brush is way too big and fluffy that I'm essentially getting 2 blending brushes..it'd be a waste of my money.
