This is exactly why I got lipo without dieting first. While I know I can loose weight by dieting, I'm never able to maintain the weight loss long term. I've been at a steady weight for the past few years with a relatively healthy lifestyle that I know I can maintain. I'm also overall happy with my curvy body, I just had a couple of areas (chin and stomach) that was causing insecurity. Getting lipo has helped me feel happy in my body at the weight I'm at, which I know I can maintain long term.

OMG I love your way of helping us who are looking into a procedure such as this. The fact that HEALTH over money and looks is so refreshing. I have been at a healthy, stable weight for 1+ year now but the chin is still here in all her glory so I realized now is the time to start looking into this procedure. I learned from a friend that was a cronic yo-yo dieter and she would do all the procedures and would blame her doctors about the results. I learned a lot about watching her journey and didn't want to do the same.

It is permanent though, the fat cells that were removed are not coming back, so yes technically, if you gain weight, you'll lose the result as the remaining fat cells can enlarge, but it will never look as pre surgery and if you lose weight again, youll recover the result, so i dont see lipo as a way to "lose fat" but rather as a way to change your genetics, to turn a problematic area into a non problematic area. I had very bad love handles since puberty, got lipo many years ago, even though i gained weight, and my love handle area is "thicker" i still dont have love handles not even a third of what it was before, if i hadn't had liposuction and be at this weight, my love handles would be sticking out like crazy, so yeah liposuction is more of a way to change your genes and fat distribution. This is why women get BBLs because it works, it permanently changes your body composition regardless if you lose or gain weight after. There is no reason for your body to make more fat cells unless you get morbidly obese, literally, after liposuction, the number of fat cells will remain the same. That's what people don't understand, the benefit of lipo is not fat remove per se, but fat cell redistribution. It is the number of fat cells what make some areas problematic and resistant to weight loss, you just happen to have lots of them in that area.

I’m 5,2, weighed 62kg before lipo. After my vaser lipo 360 operation i lose 200grams based on weighing scale. I felt frustrated i thought it’s a scam. 4 weeks post op. I lose 7kg drastically, i was very happy because i did not do dieting but with constant walking everyday. ( i exercise before so being active has been normal for me but I hardly lose weight) I’m 5 weeks post op now and from what I noticed I can’t eat so much. I lost my appetite. I get full so fast. I dont know if that’s related to lipo because i tried searching I can’t find any articles

I would recommend mid 20s too. At 18 I was 115 lbs, at 23 my body likes to stay between 130-135. So weight gain is pretty normal and actually flattering in most places. I'm getting mine done tomorrow (((: but if I did it at 18 I bet it would have not made a huge difference just over a span of 5 years

Kybella only works if you have a less obvious double chin and you can spare many sessions. I did the awake regular lipo, was given local anesthesia. Saw my result immediately after the procedure but got swollen for couple days and once the swelling went down had a perfect result.

even more confused now ahaha. So should I go on a cut and get to my goal 12-15% body fat before lipo? Or just get lipo at my current 23% BF and then start cutting? I am at my goal weight but not my goal bf%
Note: I have been at 13-14%% before and my chin area just dosnt lose the fat, thats why I am highly considering lipo.

They’re are chin exercises, I would do those daily while losing the weight, make sure to do cardio when training too, eat clean. And try not to put on and lose weight too often. Also weight will leave certain parts of body last usually, may just be your chin/ belly etc. you could have low body fat but still be overweight/obese, so probably best to check bmi. I think it’s best to try naturally first, as our bodies are designed to be telling us something, you might be overweight etc. Chewing strong gum helps, talking/laughing more etc. I’d say try do cardio for month, eat clean in calorie deficit with intermittent fasting, exercise mouth/neck, chew strong gum, drink lots of water/ no alcohol. Take a pic at beginning of month and after month take a pic. Then reassess. I’d say try do as much as you can over 3-6 months period before doing lipo.
