Hey, Man! I’ve been a supporter now for a long time. Never commented tho. I just got released from prison after doing 6 months for a false accusation. I’m 21 years old. I was arrested 3 days after my 21st birthday. And spent 6 months in a prison for a thing I didn’t do. And watching your videos got me.. prepared I wanna say. So many things I would’ve done wrong, so many things I could’ve accidentally said. I want to thank you. Most people don’t realize just how bad it is, even as you tell them... being locked in a cell 23 hours a day with a grown man you don’t know from a can of paint. I couldn’t sleep the first 3 days cause I was scared to death he’d try something while I was sleep. It’s bad. I wouldn’t wish that place on my worst enemy. Be safe Joe.

I subscribed for his prison videos and for a little while he almost completely stopped posting those types of videos. Now that he's bringing them back I click just a little faster now

Biscuits and Gravy and Shit on a Shingle are two different things. SoS is chipped beef in white gravy on toast. It's served a lot in the military and you can find it on the breakfast menu at some restaurants in the South.

couple of my dudes kept their orange sporks after being locked up haha, this one dude we used to work with kept his and would eat lunch with it, said it reminded him that he didn’t wanna go back when he would see it lol

My cousin just got transferred to menard maximum in Illinois. Your stories scared me to turn my life around and when my cousins out in 2024 after his bid I’m showing him you. Hope your cousin is doing alright (late to the party). Menard can be awful or not so bad. "The pit" is pretty much lock down 24/7 last I heard when a buddy got out. "The hill" isn't too bad as you can spend your day working. Have a few friends who spent some time there before they went to lock down and it was bad bad back then (lots of violence) which forced them to go to the constant lock down. From the outside though, it's a pretty cool looking prison. Has that shawshank vibe to it because it's old and has that castle look. Fun fact, Chester, IL is the home of Popeye the sailor man and they have a big statue of him there lol.

I almost died laughing once when I told my dad about "prison nachos" I saw a few times referenced in prison and/or jail documentaries. He immediately cringed even though it was actually a good idea to gather resources and purchase select items for a feast. I know I'd chip in if I were there. I guess when you place the word "prison" in front of anything awesome it suddenly sounds awful. "Prison sex", "prison hot bath", "prison massage", "prison milkshake" etc
I was laughing like crazy until you mentioned The Whole Shebang potato chips. I paused the video and went online looking for them thinking "this can't be real!". Saw them on Amazon and the 1st review said "these were my favorite in prison, by way too expensive on Amazon." I was laughing so hard by then I had to walk away from the computer for a few minutes! That’s weird (sos) was the name used back in the 70’s-80’s and I didn’t even realize that nobody called it that anymore I know it’s usually biscuits and gravy but all the old hole in the wall dinners called it (sos) almost everywhere… But, now it’s always Biscuits n Gravy!

Joe, I've noticed a trend. Talk more prison stuff and less other things and your views go up. I know that's what I'm interested in and I will continue to support such content. It's not that hard to be creative with such content either, as the stuff you think of as "mundane" in prison fascinate the F out of the rest of us. So keep it coming and don't think so much. LIKED.

When my dad was in army, his 1st meal was SOS & he absolutely LOVED it! Had my mom make it as I was growing up. We put it over boiled potatoes at home…wasn’t a fave of mine! Too bland!

I haven't been to prison but i sucked at cleaning my room when i was younger. So my parents took my door away for like 2, or 3 years & i just had a thin blanket that was basically my door for that period of time. I feel the sheet thing thats smart tbh.
