  • The Z Garage's fusible link box replaced your Z31's original fusible links box with modern MIDI fuses for easy replacement if they ever blow. Each box comes with all the fuses needed, and weather sealed connectors to adapt the factory wiring to the new fuse box. The box contains sedated flange nuts to ensure the connections will not come loose during use.
    The box is also designed to be extremely weather resistant and is made out of high temperature plastic to withstand the high engine bay temperatures.
    Just like the original fusible links, these fuses can handle slight amounts of overcurrent for short periods of time so your circuits will stay operational and protected just as the factory links did.
    Check it out now at TheZGarage.net/store

    Definitely purchasing a few items from your shop. Most keep this sort locked away for personal (one of a kind) experiences, but true enthusiasts allow others the same experience. Much appreciated, keep up the good work 👍

      Exactly how I feel. This wknd my brother and I watched some of his vids and it even made my bro wish that he kept his 280. Knowledge is a gift and sharing that gift is even better I can’t thank him enough for these vids.

    I'm so glad this came out as soon as mine had issues I was wandering what mainly that fusible link box controls since I really need to figure why my headlights won't turn on or the cluster but everything else turns on? Please help🙏

      @TheZGarage  Před 2 lety

      The fusible links send power to the interior fuse box and other things like injectors etc. Just use a multimeter to check the resistance on all of the links. If they don't have continuity then they're burnt up. The headlights could be the Headlight switch, that'd a pretty common failure

      @@TheZGarage they may actually still have continuity and be burnt out. I had to figure that out through trial and error.

    I love it. Do you think you could make a version with a couple of extra circuits for other accessories?

    • @TheZGarage
      @TheZGarage  Před 2 lety +1

      I thought about doing that but I was very constrained by the space next to the battery. The whole design would have to change to accommodate for more fuses.

    But the fusible link is used because it can handle short amounts of higher current..Did you just use a fuse higher then it should ever reach?

    • @TheZGarage
      @TheZGarage  Před 2 lety

      The type of fuse I include can handle slight amounts of over amp draws for short periods of time just like the stock fusible links

    Will this work on S130s? I’m thinking yes since it’s just a fuse box basically but wanna be sure before ordering

    • @TheZGarage

      I do believe someone used this on an S130 before without any issues but obviously I can't gurentee it since I don't have one to test on myself.

    I kid you NOT! Is really freeing to be able to personally fix an issue that a lot of people probably share. Thanks for sharing info with the Z community! I have been working on fixing my AC. I just found out by looking in my relay box under the hood that the port that “Should” supply power to the relay port labeled as “VAC PUMP” has NO leads in that section aka no wiring routed through that section for the relay to make contact with. SMH. I think a long time ago I had someone do some work on my car and I think they either didn’t have a relay for that port to fix it so they decided to route power from what I think is the “H/Lamp washer wiring harness. But for some reason the pump is not getting powered up. I ran a jumper from the 12v car batter to the leads on the Vac canister and I could hear the motor on it engage. So I assume that it works. Any ideas on how I can fix this issue? Tomorrow I’m going to lift the entire housing for the relay box and I hope that the leads that are supposed to feed that relay are stuffed under it and are still capable of delivering power then I can just plug in the new relay and be back in biz. Again thanks for all that you are doing for the community. We all have love for these cars and want to keep them running.

      I'm not too familiar with the stock vacuum pump since my car never had one on it. I can only recommend reading through the factory service manual on XenonZcar.com to see if they have a diagnostic procedure for the pump, as well as looking through the wiring diagram to see where power comes from

    • @TheZGarage
      @TheZGarage  Před 2 lety +1

      No that would be from something else. Google how to find battery drains in a car and it'll show you how to go through each circuit to find which one is causing your battery to drain
