0:37 After being alone for all of his life, Conan finally has a buddy helping him out. That really is awesome.
And he puts together a crew plus a woman who,all of which would give they’re lives for each other.
A dead eye killer at that. Then add in a badass woman marauder... damn man. Conan is one of the very few stories that leaves me slightly envious of a fictional persons life. His early years would have sucked real bad but what he becomes... maybe worth it
@@woadblueno way worth it he only becomes what he becomes because that bad ass woman marauder is his one love and she died early. His early years sucked, he had a sweet run with his crew for a very short time, then back to the grief and brooding. I’m not hating, I just feel for Conan.

Years later, Arnold paid homage to that, by knocking out a reindeer in 'Jingle all the Way'. 😃

@@Eadbhard I don't like that language, but the music was great because Basil Poldouris conducting the music to the main theme from Conan but he wrote so many scored the he play a piano to make the music to put the group of people start to play the orchestra to the big screen.

I loved this movie from the first time I saw it but always thought it was funny that they were supposed to be thieves when they kind of blundered around showing weapons and not being particularly sneaky
I was lucky to have watched a nice vintage 35mm print of this film at a local theater in April 2024. When Arnold said, “All sluts” at 1:21, the entire room burst out laughing. Lol. What a great experience to re-visit this classic.

Watched this movie many times, but could never catch what's going on in the scene where Conan says "He's already dead!" and "Can you believe that!" before he punches out the camel? Or maybe I don't want to know.
Ok here's what's happening: In that scene, in the shadows, there's a guy fucking a white lama doggie style. You'll have to look closely.
Conan saved Subotai from being dinner for wolf. He should've been a dead man so this is basically like his second life. In other words, he has been dead already
When he says, “Can you believe that?!” There’s a dude screwing an animal in the background.
