I remember seeing the trailer for this before it was released and it looked like the best movie ever. Seeing this in theaters for the first time was even better. At the time, this scene was intense! Seeing this now, 25 years later? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

The genius of John Milius and Basil Poledouris combined created a timeless masterpiece of fantasy film.

I can watch this movie over and over again...and have done.

Far more terrifying and despairing than Morpheus described it. It's only made worse when you add in the notion that humans were once the villains to the story and arguably deserved their fate. It's a stark contrast to the lives of their hybrid descendants who have all their lives only experienced the opposite.

This is like a good RPG game made into a movie. So many things from RPG games. The finding of the sword, and other things.Then seeing that symbol at 3:44, to remind him of the burning want of revenge in him. And also the trinity, of conan being up front tank, while Subotai is stealthy and archer. Later we get the mage/wizard. Fucking amazing movie. The soundtrack also plays a big role of why it is amazing.

I was so ticked that they killed off Newt, Hicks and Bishop in the first few minutes of this movie. I tend to disregard Alien 3 and everything that came afterward and just imagine Hicks, Ripley and Newt making it back to Earth as a family, with Uncle Bishop stopping by every now and then to catch up on old times.
