Great choice to interview Tim. I now have so much more understanding as to who he is and why he is on the podcast. Thanks for being so open and honest Tim. And thanks to you Knuckles. This podcast is truly RAW and honest!
Chris and Tim complement each other so well. 10k subscribers is great! Next we want 100k! Keep up the great work guys. You are awesome!
ditto
You two are such a pleasure to listen to. Compared to the rest you guys are head and shoulder above the rest. Thanks Chris, thanks Tim.
Tim's story is a good one.
Thanks for letting us into your personal lives, total respect.
These podcasts are like sitting at the bar with two hilarious NHL guys telling hockey and life stories (without the booze) lol I watched Tim play with the Chicago Wolves. ONE HELL OF A PLAYER! Like Knuckles said - If you play one game in the NHL that is an AMAZING accomplishment.
Thanks for listening!
@@therawknucklespodcast Thanks to The Raw Knuckles Crew!!! Your honesty and humor are needed in this crazy "cancel culture" world. If possible...get number 4 as a guest.
@36:00 That Winnipeg story is just amazing.
laughing is a curing energy. :)
I binge watch this show. Keep it going guys!
great pod! nice to hear more of Tim’s back story!
Congrats to you both on the 10k subsribers.
I'll still be there when you reach 100,000 subs.
Keep up the good work❤
Sweet! I had been waiting for an in depth on Tim. Great interview. Thanks for doing this.
Same - he throws in some subtle funny quips every show.
The single word that describes Tim is disarming. I bet people just reveal stuff to him... maybe too much stuff! 😂
Great episode guys
Damn that was a great interview. @16:25 "which year did you win the championship?" LMFAO. Nilan does not know the most basic thing about Stapes. "He has been surrounded by losers his entire career. " Stapes may not be in the HOF but he had the most amazing times good and bad in hockey and the stories will go on forever.
Love your show
This may get buried but if you go to Wikipedia for Vladimir Krikunov it says "Arguably the most talented player Krikunov ever had the privilege of coaching was Tim Stapleton!" 😂
10K subscribers, Habs draft a second Xhekaj on the day this episode drops. Rock on boys!!
OK. Another hour, please!
This episode was great but I was hoping to find out what would be on Tim’s hockey eulogy
I often wonder out of all the prospects that want to play in the NHL ,what is the % of players who have careers 10 years and more?
He's thinking of David McNab who's Dad was Max and Brother was the late Peter the excellent big center for Buffalo, Boston, the Devils and Vancouver?
I remember David with the Rangers and he's been in Anaheim for years!
I love your podcast fellows and Chris as a Rangers fan since 1970 who's late cousin is in the late John Ferguson's book on 5 pages, I loved you man and it was a damn shame you had the injuries.
As much as I loved an Eddie Giacomin or Nicky I loved you Chris a real team guy and warrior!
They gotta have Nicky Fotiu on the podcast! His story to make the WHA and the NHL and play from 1974 to 1988 from Staten Island New York was amazing! He didn't skate until he was 16 and then did what he did!
Thanks for the recommendation, will have to get him on
Tim good for you. I played in the same Chicagoland High School league as you at Notre Dame but in the early 90s. I think from that time only Bates Battaglia from Fenwick made the NHL. I could be wrong on this. I would of run over a litter of kittens to even play 6th line minutes 😊😊 in the NHL. (Yes haters I know that’s not a thing) But seriously,, good for you and I like listening to you guys.
I have drinking 6to 8 beers a day for like more than years. I don't get drunk have fun having a few with friends never got dui just use your head. I will never quit having beers never missed work. Just live life and i would hate not having a beer but never hard alcohol for me it works
That's all that matters, if it works for you, then it works for you! Good luck and thanks for listening to our pod!
I preferred your show here between you 2 because I enjoy how Chris demonstrates respect and a genuine affection for Tim as a person. On the other hand, I did not like the Spitting Chiklets interview with Tim because let's face it, Tim is not a one dimensional person like how these guys portayed themselves. I felt they were arrogant and a bit demeaning towards Tim although it was clear how they respected his talents in the game. I feel that both Tim and Chris, you both have more than one dimension because you've gone through hardships and acknowledge them where, the other guys were in the their show just for the fun of it. Good going you 2.
Really want to thank you for taking the time to send your comments. We sincerely appreciate your support! Keep listening!
IS Tim related to Pat Stapelton?
No. No relation to any hockey Stapleton
