I never ever ever ever ever thought I could like Theo, Knucks and Stapes anymore than I I did but this took it up another level. This is a great interview that may transcend time. Three salt of the earth guys.

Great interview Chris with Theo. Theo was a great player who always gave 100%. He is honest to himself and others and if HHOF can't honour him then that is their loss.

I've never had a flu or been sick in my adult life so for me there was no need for the Vax. Got the covid before the Vax came out and didn't feel a thing . I also took a lot of heat but I'm glad I stuck to my guns 🔫. History will be on our side. A lot have gotten ill with this Vax. Great podcast Chris. Lots of Respect for You. Keep up the good work and I'm happy for both you and Theo..
Even as a Habs fan, always loved watching Theo play. Wish he could have played longer, and not having had the demons he did.

I was a Montreal native living in Calgary during the 80's. Was really tough in '86 and '89 because I was a Habs fan that had been rooting for the Flames all year. During the finals I'd find myself cheering every goal no matter which team scored it. Surreal. Such an amazing decade of hockey. Theo was such a fireplug. Totally owned the Oilers. They hated him so much, more than any other Flame by far. The Battle of Alberta was the closest rivalry I've seen to that of Montreal vs Boston.

Great interview, Chris. I discovered your show on an AM radio 5 or 6 years ago while living in a squaller in saint Henri and Ville Emard, aka Village of shit. My wife and I were coming off heroin, cocaine and booze and had no outlet other than hockey and that crazy radio show about aliens and shape-shifting aliens. I remember watching play for MTL in the 80s for the Habs (I was born and raised in Toronto)but had a little Sony B&W 10in set to watch the battle of Quebec. I, unfortunately, left Montreal for Ottawa for recovery in a safe supply program. We got clean but miss our city so much.would love to meet you one day and shake your hand cause you helped in me being clean than any program. If you ever in Ottawa feel free to P.M me

I really appreciate your comments on this-I wish more people felt this way, instead of having resentments against people with different beliefs. We don't all have to agree, but at the end of the day we can all be respectful of each other's decisions. Thanks for listening!

I love Iggy... all time favourite player. Arguably, Theo had a slightly better career.

Theo: 1,084 gp with 1,088 points, 77 gp with 79 points, 1 Stanley cup,
Theo overcame a ton of adversity and same with iginla. I wish the league and franchise would show respect to Theo, raise the jersey to the rafters and put him in the hall of fame where he belongs

Theo is starting to care about the Bigger Picture... Politics....the Global State of Affairs....he is current and he is passionate and he wants to help make positive change. These guys made it through the meat grinder, good on them.

My suggestion would be to go to the AA website, find a meeting near you, go and talk to someone there. You'll get all the help you need and all the answers to any questions you may have. Good luck

Theo was & is a great talent that persevered. The Flames owe him a lot for helping them win the CUP. That coach who abused players is a piece of garbage & those young boys SHOULD NEVER FEEL AN OUNCE OF GUILT!!! THE NHL & SOCIETY FAILED THEM !!! This should terrify ALL Hockey parents-- their kids deserve to be safe from SCUM as they chase their dreams !!
There is a special place in hell waiting for the the guy who abused Theoren Fleury, and may his name be forgotten for all time when we talk about the game. Gary Roberts was once quoted as saying - "I would never again play on any team with Fleury was on."
Sadly, the stories of his dreadful behavior off the ice are legendary, and arguably overshadow many of his accomplishments on the ice.
