I remember Disclaimer Guy, the silly subtitles under their names to begin every video, and the tidbits about their lives. I miss all of those things but still really love the Nerds, what they're doing, and how awesome they are.
Musk will personally ask him to come back. He's fixing all that he can.

I think proliferate works better than you think it does... adding additional shield counters on Perry boosts its protection significantly.
Also, giving Pierre +1/+1 counters and proliferating them buffs him up as much as increasing the variety of counters on the board, and is easier overall. I'm surprised that the precon itself is providing proliferate cards to essentially sidestep Pierre's unique gimmick.

I think mox field is the only time I've ever used something an ad talked about and actually enjoyed, I built my first commander deck on it because my buddy bought a precon and I wanna play with him

I got this deck just last week on sale, seemed fun with a bunch of counters. Was a bit disappointed of it out of the pack, so gonna mod it. Yours is the ONLY video I came across that not only talks about what should go into the deck, but what should be CUT as well. Thank you for that. Adding is easy, cutting is hard.

Thank you for this video!! TBH I was excited to finally see a legend that cares about different kinds of counters; looked at the precon list and saw so many terrible includes (and so few good cards) I just decided it’s better to build from scratch.

I actually broke the precon down into two different decks. Perrie likes to smash with lots of different counters but Kros want to put more and more counters on your opponents' creatures which is where the proliferate from the deck comes into play. Constantly give that creature a random counter over and over again, tap them down, and then goad.
I like lilting refrain for Perrie, it's a counterspell that you put on the board early or late and it just gains verse counters
I like the new Elspeth for this deck as well. Elspeth can give Flying, First Strike, Vigilance, and +1/+1 from her plus ability, and her small minus gives shields. This pairs well with the Vivien you mentioned, who gives Trample, Reach, and Vigilance so you're not duplicating too many abilities.

I love the name on some of these characters: Perrie the pulverizer and Mr.Orfeo the boulder come readily to mind.
I pulled a fancy Falco in my prerelease so I have been tinkering with them. Perrie and Falco both care about counters so I'd suggest checking out Ikoria for Luminous Blinkmoth, Slippery Bogbonder, Wingspan Mentor, Avenging Huntbonder, Keensight Mentor, Hornbash Mentor :P
Top ten non 1 for 1 removal spells? I know soul shatter and crackling doom but what else is playable.
The 30th card that is removed that does not seem to be mentioned in the video is Kros, Defense Contractor
Jenera is such a fun counters commander always have a big angel to equip or move counters onto and such good colors

Do we really want Quicksilver Fountain in this deck? I don't think I want all my lands to slowly turn into islands and neither does anyone else. Also duplicating flood counters. Could they have wanted Pyramid of the Pantheon instead, a "better" brick counter card?

Great observation about the combat damage triggers on cards. It happens so slowly, and only per turn cycle (barring extra combats), they just end up being terrible. It's almost like a suspend 1 card. The format is just too fast now for just about ANY "once per turn cycle" cards/effects to be that strong. Even Annihilator, for example, doesn't feel as strong as it used to be.
Anyone play this deck yet?

First!
I got 15 mins into the video just to realize this deck must just suck and idk if they don’t wanna say it but I should probably just play something else. But politely we could say it’s a niche deck maybe. Idk I just bought a random deck to try to play with my friends but I’m completely lost on what to play.
To people trying to build the deck: don’t remove Park Heights Maverick, this card is one of the best. Even when you care about different kind of counters.
What is WOTC doing? A lot of the blue in both the precons and SNC are unusually bad. Maybe WOTC needs to look at hiring. I’ll forward them my resume.

IIRC I’m pretty sure Joe hates that card but I might be misremembering edited to add no that’s definitely the card. He’d never play that because he doesn’t consider a draw a win.
