Don't forget that Toggo's rocks are equipment entering the battlefield making you a 2/2 with menace from chishiro.
I love doubling the damage and than the rocks do 4 damage :P
15:19 I HEAVILY disagree with cutting this as you still control the auras put onto those creatures, so it's nothing but upside of you make X 2/2s and the creatures you put these on make YOU treasure when they die, you could combine this with a sac outlet on your board to pseudo pay 1 life and sac a creature to make a treasure or just put it on opponents creatures and if someone threatens a boardwipe you still get an assload of treasures. this card is better in the goad guy, but it definitely still belongs in chishiro
Hey guys! I have a video idea! I noticed that sometimes you mention things such as "For 9 mana we should be ending the game". I was wondering if you could make a video discussing what sort of effects are good at each mana value. Another example that comes to mind are tutors: 0 is broken, 1 is very high power, 2 is high power, 3 is moderate power and 4 is low power. Let me know what you think!
I would even call 1 and 2 Mana broken. After that, there‘s a huge drop
Concord with the Kami actually looks nice. It says choose one or more...meaning all three modes can happen each end step. The extra card draw each turn makes it worth price of admission plus added counters and additional creatures just helps with the go wide AND tall strategy.
Some great ideas! I just built this one from scratch for about $80 and used a bunch of these, but you came up with a few cards I hadn’t considered.

Small detail, smoke spirit's aid is perfect in this deck! You can create 4 aura's or more with one card that means 4 more spirits 🤩🤩🤩

Great video guys. I personally like concord with the kami here. It says choose one or more. It can fit into more decks having only one pip in addition to getting you a creature and a counter. You wouldn't cast it unless you had an enchanted creature and it triggers on the endstep. So even if it or the creature gets taken out then you got to draw, create a 1/1, and put a counter on a creature for 4 mana. At best it draws you many cards and creates many 1/1's while providing those much needed counters. If left unchecked, this is a bomb

Nice upgrades! This deck looks very unique. I think a lot of people are overlooking the token aspect. The tokens have menace, so with cards like familiar ground that force only one creature to be able to block, it creates unblockability for your tokens. I remember someone (I think it was you guys) mentioned it in the gb elves precon last year, and there are equipments that do the same thing too!
I actually pulled this commander in a set booster, and was considering building it. This video gave me lots of good ideas!

Smoke spirit's aid makes a whole bunch of tokens if your commander is out, and remember that you can also use it to bank mana and damage for the future by enchanting your opponents stuff with it too (since you control the auras you get the treasure even if you enchant other people's stuff, you seemed to possibly miss that in the set review?). It's not the biggest haymaker sure but it's an army in a can, a way to modify as much stuff as you have mana, a nice treasure bank, and some random damage to your opponents when needed all rolled into a single flexible package, I think you're being way too harsh towards it.
Breath of Fury seems like a decent include. Impact Tremors and a sac outlet, too. Since One with the Kami goes infinite fairly easily, there's some easy win conditions you can run.
I love silk guard when there is wipes on all your equipments and aura creatures as a hexproof saviour … has helped lots in many games when you are left with loads of stuff to rebuild much faster 🤷♂️
No Renata? She seems like an easy slot into the deck. Auto modifies your creatures, and enables One With the Kami comboes.
You need to rethink Smoke Spirits Aid. Its a card that allows you to pay red and x to make x 2/2 spirits with your commander on the board. It also generates you treasure and does some incidental damage as well.
It is essentially an instant board state.

Agreed! I cast for x=5 and targeted 2 of my critters and 3 of my opponent's critters. 5 spirits, and when theirs die, i get Treasure token? I'm convinced.
I just bought this deck and I'm looking forward to upgrade it. I don't have a 50 buck cap though. Will be fun going trough my collection to add more power.

Absolutely, I think they are heavily underrating this card. Aura = Creature so even in early game for x = 2-3 this could be doubling the size of your board state as well as making your existing creatures modified.
Yeah a lot of these "terrible" cards seem pretty good. I think they're just underrating a lot of cards. I'm gonna ignore some of their suggestions, save a few bucks and get a slightly more fun deck.
IHYD and Nerds crossover I am SO here for. This has gotta happen, you guys both out out excellent content and I'm stoked to hear he's as good a dude as he seems (I know you guys are good dudes from discord). Also this was a super solid upgrade, I feel like 50 bucks is gonna really get you there with this deck. Feels a lot stronger than the azorius deck.

I will say: I keep seeing people poo-pooing Silkguard, but I think it's decent. Blanket Hexproof for all your Auras and Equipment AND the creatures they're on for 1 G isn't bad. Those would be the things you control that people would target to remove. Just half of a Heroic Intervention for half the mana and 1/10th the cost.
Yes actually the X in the casting cost is confusing people. It’s G gives your board hexproof which is not bad. The X is just an upside.
Yeah, their take on Silkguard is pretty bad in my opinion. If your goal is a budget deck then Silkguard is an auto-include to fill the Heroic Intervention slot, but if you already have Heroic Intervention then there is no good reason to not also include Silkguard since it has two effects. Simply hold onto it for when someone tries to target one of your important creatures, and if you have extra mana available you get +1 counters as a bonus.

I like Lizard Blades as Embercleave back up; you can put counters on Lizard Blades in creature form, equip it, survives board wipes in equipment form :P
Just pulled this deck out of a mystery box commander deck. I’m not sure how to feel about it but this video definitely makes me wanna build it up!
I recommend it! I started playing MTG recently with this deck and even with just a few upgrades, it’s a lot of fun to play. I wish more of these cards were included with the base deck (*ahem* Nissa), but $50 worth of upgrades makes the deck more than playable
Infectious Rage. Its an aura that comes back on its own whenever it hits the graveyard.

Goblin Bombardment is a budget card that would fit great with the deck. I think they are around $1 on TCG.

Finally got lord of the forsaken finishing my karador deck at long last now brudiclad then nihiloor the mtg grind really never stops
Kept ulash in mine just cause there’s some spicey ways to go infinite that still follows the decks game plan. All the cards that put counters on creatures as they etb, all the cards that make creatures tap for mana and we just got the hot springs that gives creatures with counters haste and the card that puts counters on other creatures when green creatures etb. Even missing a piece or two and who needs infinite when you can just do it multiple times a turn.
Otherwise I just threw in all the cantrip enchantments and the equipment that auto equip on etb. Just playing a duelist rapier, make a token equip it to said token put at least one counter on that token and spend one mana for a 5/3 that will just keep growing bigger
15:44 I don’t agree with you there, it’s so easy to make a big creature with this deck straight out of the box. The game I played last night I was hit for 24 damage of one creature because of this card.

i'm throwing Hunter's Insight into Tana // Jeska because tripling combat damage triples that draw where it wouldn't triple Rishkar's Expertise, and also it's too on-theme not to go for it at least until i pull it off once and see how hard it was.
I pretty lazy on upgrading the precon due to the fact I have so many decks to uodate for each set. Can you please go back to links for cards added and list for cards removed. I have litterally bought every power up list you provided thru ur tcg link due to ease. Now I have to work thru to do the same and have to consciecely find ur link to support you. Love the content keep it up.
I think you should consider Kalonian Hydra. It's five mana for a potential game ender.

you guys left out graft creatures and living weapons. arterial alchemy is a good add. artifact equipment creatures from kamigawa are good adds. harmonious emergence is a good add. heros blade. apex devastator. loyal apprentice ecthed champion darksteel juggernaut apocalypse hydra heros bane explorers scope sword of the animist sword of hours.
I feel like you guys are thinking of an across the board of the deck being good instead of relying on chishiro as the engine. Thats fine but chishiro is a fine engine.

So, I have one complaint. I wish you would put a list in the description that is your cuts and your adds. A list, not the link to a website ... an actual list. Other tubers do it. This is much easier for some viewers than that "link".

I was trying to take this seriously till they said to cut smoke spirits aid, they clearly don't get what this deck is trying to do.
ignoring the fact that they screwed up majorly with the land? I thought the deck was okay... but, there were better offerings in future sets.
Nooooooo don't cut smoke spirits' aid, don't you guys understand!? by targeting your own creatures, you get chishiro's 2/2 tokens with menace trigger. It's a slight risk with them dying for the damage you take, but 1. it may or may not be likely cuz they have menace, plus opponent wouldn't waste spot removal on a token unless it's huge, so a board wipe, then 2. even if said creatures die and take damage, you still get treasure tokens! Or, you can do the same to the opponents, board wipe them and ping them for the damage, then you get treasure tokens for your trouble! This card is HUGE in this deck, i'm so disappointed so many people look over chishiro's token effect....

nissa was the card....if u look at the count of the card..... its skipped 171 to 173 and nissa is 172 also... the tokens in the deck come with(1) 0/1 plant TOKEN..and there are no 0/1 plant tokens to be made in the deck.....so wizards did this on purpose...*(i think)so u buy nissa
It was definitely not intentional as cards bought on the secondary market do not benefit Wizards at all.

Y’all clearly don’t know your talk about spear breaker behemoth is an awesome card he’s indestructible and he can ultimately make your entire beefed up creatures indestructible there’s a man around and there’s ways to get this creature on the field cheaper in the manner it will get you to him awesomely and then if you make some of your indestructible creatures combine with equipment auroras and another card you can ultimately wipe out an entire group of commander players with one creature in one turn giving him double strike and then when he attacks he does that much damage to all players I literally had a 34/34 creature that wiped out eight man Commander match in one turn
