    Toggo Goblin Weaponsmith needs to be in this deck. Cheshiro triggers on equipment entering the battlefield. Toggo’s rock tokens are equipment. So it’s basically make a landfall and make a 2/2 and an equipment

    • @mr.mammuthusafricanavus8299
      @mr.mammuthusafricanavus8299 Před 2 lety

      LOL I love Toggo. I tend to add Toggo to any of my decks with red and extra space lately. Forcing people to waste removal on silly Toggo and his Rock tokens makes me happy and saves my true bombs from that removal later :P

  • @jjcc8379
    @jjcc8379 Před 2 lety +8

    Poor Fertilid. The only complain I have about it it is that usually runs out of gas and dies.
    But with this commander, you can tutor 1 land each turn (or more if you got Hardened scales type effects).
    This deck fills it constantly! It's like it was made for this !

  • @mr.mammuthusafricanavus8299

    - Heroic Intervention is a steal ATM since it almost got to 20$ before the reprint, Tamiyo Safekeeping runner up?
    Some ideas I had:
    - Renata, called to the Hunt or Ivy Lane Denizen
    - Hydra Growth or Invigorating Surge
    - Predator Ooze
    - Hardened Scales
    - Gyre Sage or Incubation Druid
    - Vigor
    - Spike Weaver
    - Ooze Flux
    - Vivien arkbow ranger
    Additions to deter removal:
    - Deaths presence
    - Pattern of Rebirth :p

    Doubling season was only reprinted 2 years ago and it barely went down in price after that reprint. If a card is good/strong, doesnt matter how many times it gets reprinted its just going to climb back up, especially because EDH.

  • @bradkuhn80
    @bradkuhn80 Před 2 lety +10

    A really cheap card to put in is Ivy Lane Denizen. When a green creature enters the battlefield it gets a +1/+1 counter. So that would hit most of the creatures in the deck including the commander. I doesn't affect all of them but it's a budget card as it's $.50 card and it fits the theme of the deck!

      Result: Infinite creature tokens. Infinite +1/+1 counters on Scurry Oak. Infinite ETB. Requires: Ivy Lane Denizen on the battlefield. Scurry Oak in hand. 2G available. Steps: Cast Scurry Oak. When Scurry Oak enters the battlefield, Ivy Lane Denizen triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Scurry Oak. Scurry Oak triggers, creating 1/1 Squirrel token. Speaking of ozolith, there is a card in Neon Dynasty that can turn it into a creature which will make it a big beater if you have it full of counters from your deck. It's not unimaginable to have several +1/+1 counters, a vigilance counter, an many more. It can be a big combat trick to have it loaded up with counters and then turn it into a creature and swing in.

  • @clanechelon
    @clanechelon Před 2 lety +4

    Fertilid is excellent ramp in +1/+1 counter deck. I don't know about you but I would cast rampant growth on each of my turn if I could and fertilid is the closest thing to that. I would also put Kodama of the west tree in there to give trample to all my modified creature and ramp even more if we connect, but that's because I run a LOT of basics given I am a budget player

  • @AlejandroNitsch
    @AlejandroNitsch Před 2 lety +1

    Shifting shadow, I've cast it to enchant opponent's creatures, especially their commander. Most of the times they can't escape before losing two or three creatures to it.

  • @chrisgallo2236
    @chrisgallo2236 Před 2 lety +3

    I actually decided to go more heavy on the tokens to tell you the truth. I left Krenko in and added cards like Scurry Oak, Herd Baloth and Iridescent Hornbeetle being there is a lot of 1/1 counter synergies in the deck. Then added Pathbreaker Ibex as a nice top end finisher.

    Shifting shadow and Molting skin, 3 mana cost for any creature if you can get the combo going. If not you can always attach shifting shadow to an opponents creature and force them to lose creatures until countered

  • @Jonnyguitar1877
    @Jonnyguitar1877 Před 2 lety +1

    Doubling season for sure is gonna be the most expensive card, or parallel lives. I say this paused at the 9:48. Because of course it is! Why is it so expensive!? People should be able to have all the strong cards man. Also another fun thing to add in would be Ivy lane Denizen and Herd Baloth. Even if you don’t have magical Christmas land with both of them you will still consistently create 4/4’s.

    Think Xenagos could also have a place in this deck. Could be a potential pain to deal with in terms of removal, allows for temporary buffing on our side of the field, making it a target of ire for people while we draw to find other paths. At worst it hangs around giving us a boost in potential free damage if not dealt with.
