Last time that The Netherlands has won, was in 1975. 44 years ago. Congrats to Duncan and all Dutch with Arcade. Next year will The Eurovision Song Contest be in The Netherlands. 🎉🎊💯🙌

It's by far the most beautiful and in it's vulnerability a powerful song my country has ever send to Eurovision. He studied at the Rockacademy in my city and he wrote this song here as well. The Netherlands is very proud of him but you have no idea how this uplifted my city. I've seen eurovision tourists allready in my city (Tilburg) checking out the Rockacademy. Funny. But all I want to say is, I love the somg and the perfect performance Duncan gives every time he sings it

Hi Nephi, thanks for reacting. I think he was nervous because it was the first time he sang the song live, so he started a bit hesitant. I think he'll do great at the Eurovision. The videoclip is also great!

Emoties, wat gespannen, wat zullen de mensen er van vinden etc etc.
De grootste artiesten zijn gespannen als ze een nieuwe song uitbrengen, hoe goed ze ook zijn, het zijn mensen.
Duncan gaat de wereld veroveren, winnen of niet, mensen houden nu al van zijn mooie stem.

I'm glad you enjoy the Dutch singers. Would you care to try another great singer from the Netherlands called Floor Jansen. She is currently the lead singer of Nightwish, try "Ghost love score live at Wacken 2013". If you like the jumping bwtween registers then this is the one to watch.

Hes new to Netherland too, i just graduated from conservatorium for pop music called Rock Academy in Tilburg Nederland it already delivered several great singers bands and what have you. i wish your influence in your own country was somewhat bigger, i know that you love many of the dutch artist but it dont reflect , i live in the Philippines and i have many FB friends but nobody ever heard of GG or ogene i would love to see them in the charts here end hear them on the radio , the only dutch artist i ever heard was Gerard Joling and thats not my kind of music i heard a disco song MC Miker G & DJ Sven - Holiday Rap, thats got to change

The song is about a young girlfriend, whom lost the love of her life. She got sick and hoped till the end of er life he love would come back to her. Wich he did not. She died, he never returned. The song is written from the girl's perspective.
your making this up. "small town boy in a big arcade, i got addicted to a losing game" is a lyric, nothing in any of the lyrics to suggest its from a female perspective so stop talking nonsense please. The song is actually about a man who feels his relationship was doomed before it even began and that he always knew he was out of his depth with this love.

The most incredible of this song is that Duncan is unknown in the Netherlands. He was in the voice of Holland and his coach was Ilse de Lange. She was impressed bij him (and then you must be very good). This is his own song. And the content is based on a real love story. A girl dying of cancer, waiting for her (ex)lover, she wants to see him before she dies, but he didn't show up. Ilse herself is also an amazing artist. She was some years ago 2e in the Eurovision contest. I think she should have been nr. 1. If you want to get an impression of Ilse I advise you to see and react on this one. Hi Nephi, yes it is a great song, yes he sang it perfectly but most people listening to it are not vocalists, analists or vocal coaches...they are regular people and i am afraid alot of them will find this song boring ( again i am not one of those people ).
