- The plaintiff says she and the defendant were close friends. She had planned a cruise over Christmas and couldn’t go, so the defendant took her place and never paid for it, so she’s suing. The defendant says she always did her friend’s hair, but she stopped coming, so she’s countersuing for lost clientele.

The defendant has no defense and owes the money, however after 18 years of friendship they should sit down and express themselves and maybe reconcile their relationship. If not, move on QUIETLY.

There does seem to be much miscommunication between the two. The defendant definitely owes the balance of the money due for the cruise.
She does seem extremely hurt though at the loss of the friendship.
