Thank you Thomas!! All your reviews on all the different cars/SUV's are extremely helpful especially to us Americans. My parents were both born in Croatia and now that they are retired they will move back and they need to buy a car. My father being older prefers an SUV because it is easier for him to get into and out of a car, plus he likes the extra height. He and I watch your reviews religiously and this is going to help him when he chooses which car he will by. Thank you for the great work that you do!
amazing, you re welcome!
The most help is with the cars they do not sell here in the USA such as the Skoda, Peugeot, Seat, etc. Thanks again!
Great video! I have an Outlander diesel and I agree with your review. The Mitsubishi are Ok cars, they don't offer much emotions while driving, but they are not bad also. I don't think this is a bad thing, it's just the way they are and I love my Outlander!
+Outlander Por Aí thanks 4 the feedback!
Great review Thomas! It's a good SUV if you need something new, durable and rugged or if your on a budget. Id personally go for a lower trim level with AWD and cloth seats since it's more of a bargain.
+VolkswagenJettaFordFocus indeed!
Front 'shield' looks good to me.
Dear Thomas, I have been following Autogefuhl for some time now. I am really impressed by the way you review the vehicle, starting from the front facia to driving impression. Keep it up.
+mohsin malik thank you, good to have you here
All in all, if Mitsubishi pays a little more attention to the sound insulation and the GPS and some other small things, they can really make an awesome all-around vehicle. I just don't know why they don't do it.
With the exception of the license eating Evo, I think most Mitsubishi buyers are drawn buy price "only" They offer buyers nothing special, but for many price means everything. As a whole the cars are excellent value for money.
These sell quite well where I live! I see them a lot! No idea why! Maybe it’s because they are decent value and super reliable!
I cannot say i dislike the new front end, however, i thought the last version was fine. I guess it is best that i say that i find new front end inoffensive. As for the new hood-meets-front-facia....many companies are doing this for various reasons but i find this design element awkward, especially on light colours. Having the hood go all the way to the front end is a 'cleaner' look, imo.
had i not had one this review would not make me go out and get one.i have a mazda cx-5 and my wife has a mitsubishi rvr/asx,a 2014 model, japanese import, with the 1.8 mivec engine.i drive the mitsubishi also and i must admit i love it.now i love my cx5 but the mitsubishi beats it in some areas.the mitsu seats are better in the front, more room.its a lot cheaper and the petrol mivec is very economical for a petrol engine.the reliability is also excellent.what would in your opinion be a better suv for the price?the only problem i found with it,is that you cant fling it around like the cx5.other than that a very good car to own and as i said very reliable.
thanks for the feedback! The CX-5 is rather comparable with the Mitsubishi Outlander (the bigger one)
love your reviews and i love the time you dedicate to them.still think the cx-7 is more an outlander competitor.still the point that i am trying to make is that, for me,reliability is a big issue.that is why i mostly go for japanese cars.look forward to your next review.stay healthy and happy.
Mitsubishi is one of the smaller companies, fading away in terms of relevancy and in the silhouette's of the big dogs in the market. Hopefully they don't suffer the same fate as Suzuki. Let's hope that this North American comeback is a success and that Mann and Ghosn can do some work on this brand.
I just had a brand new 2015 model ASX delivered to me a couple of weeks ago that was heavily discounted (30% off) since there were still a few of them in stock. My advice is to get the 2015 model ASX instead of this... engine and interior is EXACTLY the same, but the 2015 is now cheaper and has a better look on the outside... the front of this new one just looks like the mitsubishi spacewagon they were marketing towards soccer-moms back in the 90s.
Hopefully Mitsibishi will find a new elan under the Renault leadership. It's a pity they aren't independent anymore, but looking at what they brought to the market over the last couple of years, I guess new policy is needed. It seems to be mostly about design, since in terms of technology they've always been up to par.
My OCD is so strong with this car that went crazy when I saw the colour mismatch of the 'shield'.
The plastic of the grille and the metal of the bonnet are not the same silver (faints).
Yes, I am aware of my damage ;)
Good review, I will probably not rush to any dealer anywhen soon for a test drive of this model so thank you for the revealed details.
oh wow, I didnt see that!
+Autogefühl I have a distorted view on cars. As you check the centre console, I check the sun visors for sharp edges after ultrasound welding, door mirror colour compared to car body matching colour, tension or compression in the wind shield and the Mickey Mouse ears in the reflection... Occupational damage, 99% of regular car buyers will never notice this :)
The ASX only makes sense for the cheapest version with the least frills. Otherwise you are just throwing money away on an old car. Saying that, it is still comfortable and roomy (for the class) and people who buy them enjoy and maybe love them. The cheapest version in OZ/NZ is the second best seller in the category, and it is great for everyday transportation purposes. It is from the era when Mitsubishi still made reliable cars (no Renault influence yet). That big sunroof is only good for short people, with too much money to burn. But, each to his or her own.
Great review yet again, Thomas!
Unfortunately, this is just another reminder that there are many better products than the Mitsubishi for comparable prices.
+DarthRegis thanks pal!
Such as? In my market I only found the Kia Sorento and Nissan Qashqai for a similar price. Any other option I should be looking into?

great review again from Thomas, especially last 3 minutes would be helpful for customers.
+Mehmet Bakır 👌
Looking today at this car it's not look like new model but like 10-15 years old car. I was looking for Compact SUV and i was at Mitsubishi dealer. I was terribly disapointed, how new car can look like 2-3 old generation car.
Thanks for another awesome review Thomas. The ASX looks really dated.
+Steve b thanks steve!
The chime is commonly found in cars sold in Japan and North America. Mitsubishi is just being cheap by not removing it for the European market. But it shouldn't do it every single time. If either the driver's door is open or the driver's belt isn't fastened when starting the car, it will chime at you. I guess if you're not used to it, it's annoying.
didn't know that they mount that big 2.2l diesel in the ASX. As far as I remember there has been a 1.8l diesel before. Considering the higher tax costs for displacements above 2l this 2.2l with its mediocre 150hp doesn't make any sense, so most of the ASX'es out there in the street are just basic plain 2WD models with base 1.6l petrol engine
Great review Thomas. Nice car but there are much better ones now. Mitsubishi needs a completely new model to catch up dynamically.
+Andrew K, Northern Ireland 👍
Finally i am waiting about 6 months for this :D
Mesut Taşdemir exactly me to waiting and also wonder to new mitsubishi lancer 2017 but i didnt find any new about news model there is no news to this car probably it can be like coralla and civic etc.
The Civic is way higher in terms of build quality compared to those two cars. Is also more expensive.
+Mesut Taşdemir great, enjoy 😊
L.GH. Djoetma civic is adorable if you compare 3 cars civic is first coming allover high quality looking awesome so dynamic
i actually waiting new Eclipse Cross with new downsizing 1.5 161hp turbo mivec engine
Awesome review as always :D
+Quang Minh Đặng 👍
Asx using ulp 92 octane
Hi Thomas and everyone at Autogefühl, great review as always! That continued chime whenever you push the starter button (not including the door open chime), can it be turned off?
+T H-L thanks! Afaik not
I quite like the exterior. It still reminds me of a Lancer so that's probably why. The AWD is good, but I don't have anything good to say about the interior. It's one of the worst if not the worst you've reviewed for a long time. Hopefully Carlos Ghosn can put Mitsubishi on the right track.
good job Friend. Very good video

Will there be a review for the new facelift?
What is the point of the beeping when no-one knows what it is for! 😂They cars are way more popular than I thought they would be. I see them everywhere. I like the look of the front but the rest is quite conservative, as you say. I love the wheels though.
Mitsubishi needs all new models
probabily we are going to see Nissan/Renault features in the next models
Dragos Hudici It will be progressive...
Hi Thomas when you expekt skoda karoq for sale in germany? Thanks!
+Dalibor Radulovic sales have started afaik
+Dalibor Radulovic just not standing at dealers yet

Do you have the towing specs.' for US models?
Wonderful, Thomas! Gonna spread the word about this channel, best reviews ever.
By the way, is Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross gonna go through your dissection?
awesome!
Yes we ll have that this year
Another good Japanese car
Do you think the 2.2L diesel engine is too powerful for this vehicle? I mean doesn't it also powers the larger 7 seater Outlander?
+Reko Sri not too powerful but u re fine with the petrol
yes, I think you are right. The petrol engine would be in the sweet spot.
They should really incorporate the interiors from the new Eclipse cross into this one. The interiors is really dated.
great review von deutschland

@autogefuhl it's a CVT automatic with 2.2 Diesel right?
BMWM5VOLKSWAGENWGOLFGTI no, diesel has classic 6speed auto transmission
does this version feature a cvt gearbox or normal auto?
bagus prasetio 2.2 diesel has standart auto
You said only front windows are automatic, actually all 4 are
I guess all 4 are electrical but only the drivers window is automatic, so it goes up and down with one press and not constant pressing
+PhatE 92 yes that's what I meant, that is the difference between automatic and electric
+PhatE 92 yes that's what I meant, that is the difference between automatic and electric
Autogefühl Ahaa clear!! :)
+Petar Aleric 😎
The front is too cluttered and busy imo. ....I like a simple and clean design.

Hmmm... a rather mediocre looking car. But it's great news that insects love Autogefuhl. Good one, Thomas😎
+ian taf 😎✌️
I think the PHEV would be more interesting. This is just another car.
Compare this: czcams.com/video/xuuZ5MNHN94/video.html
Interior is stuck in time. Beeping sound is very irritating!
I personally don’t like this facelift. Too much chrome. I’ll buy the previous version. If anything, I like the wheels that this vehicle has. Take that and replace it with the previous version. It would look sharp!
Animal skin is not the problem-people are the problem.
Awful looking car.
