As a Swiss I am used to bad entries, but that year the song was quite good and their performance on stage was great. I was upset too.
But honestly, Greece not qualifying was even more shocking to me.

Switzerland and Greece in 2018 and Armenia,Portugal in 2019 were the biggest crime in the Eurivision history,but that happened because this are the best years ever.And of course Eleni didn't won in 2018,another crime at least Karma exists🙏.

One of the best Eurovision years so far. Diversity of music genres, voices, ages, aesthetic, thematics, etnias and languages, but a high quality in all of the 43 songs. I found myself suffering when I found out I wanted both Switzerland and Austria to pass but there was just 1 spot left and everyone who already passed deserved it too. Today at least half of this songs are in my playlists.
ESC 2018 is a very strong year! So much quality and variety!

I think it's the strongest we've had since 2015
But 2015 was much stronger. In 2015 we had in my opinion 10 potential winning songs in the top 10.
