    I love collared greens . Love how you sautéed the onions and garlic before adding the turkey. Creole Seasoning will take it to a whole other level and the spring onions. Wow! It looks so delicious now a craving collard greens. Love the end result look absolutely delicious. Tfs

  • @feloja81
    @feloja81 Před 3 lety

    The recipe was thorough, clear , but in my opinion, not Southern. I am from North Carolina and grew up eating my grandmother and aunt's greens. I have never had onions, garlic, creole seasoning in my greens. Also, I cook the smoked meat separately and just use the liquid from them, crushed red pepper, a little sugar, some rendered bacon, etc. Leaving the meat in the pot and mixing it in with the greens takes away enjoying them, instead you are spending your time removing the tendons and other parts of the leg. I love your cornbread recipe, it is awesomeness ! Thank you for sharing !

    Use baking soda to tender your greens, oil, sugar salt, pepper to start add baking soda as they cook, one teaspoon at a time, and color? at the beginning with meat always cooked before greens. if you want color to stay boil water and meat then Greens, also never need to use many seasons, Turkey tails is best smoke parts that will stay tender and Flavorful. if you eat pork use hog jaws very good and other old smoke meat, fat back or salt pork here in the south lol. Green peppers or jalapenos added and when greens almost finished lay green okra on top removed them when done, if you like them just dip them on your plate with your greens. No meat? Use olive oil saute onions, peppers,salt always some sugar, and never forget baking soda in to tende rrising😄 remember to many seasons want take away the toughest of. Collards, and freeing them also may leave an after taste👍😀 watch to much salt, sugar or baking soda at a tine know how much oil to add when adding...
