If you're looking for a great all around mountain bike that can do a bit of everything, a full suspension trail bike might be a good choice. In my opinion, all of the bikes on this list are very capable but won't break the bank.

Nice overview!
Polygon FTW
I am recently learning about this brand, and the more I learn, the more I like.
Good selection
Mine is a 2022 Giant Trance X3 in 27.5 ..... the World can have the rest, however all those bikes are jewels.
Giant has some great prices typically.
Well, I got mine just after the Covid pandemic and I paid ( out the door ) $2800.00@@TysRides
@@TysRides Yes, and they are great bikes but yellow YT is a sight to behold. Damn.
Honestly jeffsy or izzo would you pick for daily do it all?
I just bought a Rocky Mountain Instinct C30 with a full Deore set-up, Marzocchi Z2 Float Evo Rail fork and Fox Float DPS shock for $2900 shipped from Jenson USA. Good reviews for entry level riders, but even carbon frames are dirt cheap right now.
I was actually looking at this bike a while back. Super sick bike at a good price!
@@TysRides I get it early next week. Stoked. If the steerer tube on my Stumpjumper is long enough, I will swap forks and put my Pike Ultimate 150 on the Rocky... burlier stanchions 35mm. I will check out the Z2 first.
Good to have an option for us tall riders. XXL or Specialized S6
For sure!
I have finally narrow it down after months. I am torn between the YT Jeffsy Comp 2 and Polygon T9. What are your thoughts?
I have a YT and like it. I really like the look of the YT too. I'd say you can't go wrong with either though.
Marin!!! Hawk Hill is great if you dont' need more travel. Absolutely rips.
Yes sir! I remember that bike. I think they changed the name of it to the Rift Zone. I didn't see the Hawk Hill when I was researching.
i would just like to point out the canyon spectral al 5 it has 160mm fox 36 fork and a float x for only 2300euros
I prefer rockshox lyric tbh
@@fspeshalxo69so just pick the lyrik
@@existanimal0 oh really ! that's a good idea thanks didn't know i can just pick the lyrik
Its now a Spectral 6 with Fox Ryhem 36 150mm with Shimano deore for 2800 euro.
@@ivostarmans1199 you can still get the old one
What do you think about 2024 YT Industries Jeffsy CORE 4 29?
I think it's a sick ass bike for the $$$
Now the best value should be Intense 951 Trail sold at Costco for $1999. Carbon frame + Fox 36.
Damn. I didn't realize Costco sold bikes.
Just looked, in my area it's $2999
Not really pertaining to this video but I also live in Kansas City and I was wondering if you have any recommendations on a hardtail that has more of a bmx feel to it having a hard time finding anything other than the big brand names at the bike shops here
Man, I have no idea, honestly lol. If there is a bike shop around KC who could probably help you answer that question, it would be One Star Bikes. Kind of different compared to your typical bike shop, but the guys down there know their shit and love bikes.
@@TysRides SAN QUENTIN 27.5" is basically a dirt jumper / aggressive hardtail hybrid. There are three builds of the bike with the lowest priced one around $750
I have a Rocky Mountain growler 40 super fun 29er. Got at Erik’s
Yo what up, coach Epstein! How you living?
John!!! I'm good, man! Same stuff, different day. Still teaching and riding bikes. How you livin?
Entry level is a very loose term to me this is not an average entry level bike & would be on the way higher end not many people are going to come into the sport with a bike like this even a more advanced rider would be pretty happy with this bike I think it’s just a sign of how good bikes are now it’s hard to find bad ones anymore.
I agree with that. There are some cheaper ones out there, but I'm not sure the value is there. You can spend a bit less, but it just makes more sense to spend a few hundred bucks, if possible, and get a considerably better bike.
Marin is the best I've come across
Pretty sweet for the $$$
Yeah… You don’t know much about Polygon SiskoKid or whatever it’s called. Lol being sarcastic, but that’s thee cheapest, most capable parts/geometry and Indonesian built.
Yea, you're exactly right lol. Just been learning/hearing more about Polygon recently. Since putting this video out I've actually seen a few more videos about their bikes pop up. They seem solid.
I can buy a ozark trail mountain bike for 300 dollars and avoid the expensive chinese carbon frame that is good for 7 yrs.I store bikes in a shed where it can get down to 20 below zero can't take a chance on a fragile carbon frame braking, what happens if a carbon frame gets left in a car in the sun ,I don't want to come back and find the carbon frame got weakened because of a car inside got to 140 degrees, can't happen, well I've seen enough credible videos to stay away from carbon frame bikes.
I actually just watched Seth's video on that Ozark Trail Bike. Pretty cool there is actually a decent bike being sold at wal mart. All of the bikes on this list are aluminum, though, and are a pretty good value if you're looking for full suspension.
It’s aluminium so what’s your long winded point
