I use Alt + R+c to add a comment. Almost as fast, saving real estate on the QAT for a delete comment shortcut.

This is great! However I'm looking for a way to add comments in the footnote section. Word greys out all comment buttons when you're editing endnotes. Any tips there would be super helpful.

After recently renewing my subscription to Microsoft 365, I now have a very different layout of the comments function to the one in this video. I have lost the lines between text and comment and also the ability to format text inside the comment. Any tips on how to fix this so that I can return to having the same layout as the one in this great video?

HI - ho can we easily change font in each comment - to bold and red -for eg- and have it on for all comments going forward without going into each comment and changing font color etc- this is time consuming

That would be a good feature, but not one that is not currently available to my knowledge. You can make that suggestion to Microsoft in their feedback portal here: feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback
