  • Ever wonder what does Ctrl+V do? It is more than just the Paste shortcut. Ctrl+V is also the root shortcut for the Paste Formatting and Paste Special shortcuts (which is the trick to copying and pasting formatting in Excel).
On top of that, the Paste shortcut includes the Paste Options button, which saves you from unnecessary, manual formatting when copying and pasting things between your documents.

Ctrl+C copies whatever you have selected, Ctrl+V pastes it into your document.
