Noel is a natural radio host. Radio x should give him a weekly podcast lol
Matt Morgan has a weekly podcast and I’d say 6 out of 10 times, the guest is Noel. They’re very funny!
The whole point of a podcast is that you don’t have to wait until someone gives it to you.
He’s so naturally funny and entertaining not to mention hugely talented
100%🤣
And modest
@@djw8133 Noel? I don’t think modest is a word of use… but loving it anyway
For the same old 5 chords? Hardly think so.
@@henryschwaiger6568 let’s hear your tunes then
I can listen to Noel ALL DAY LONG.
So can Noel
I like to binge watch his interviews all day lol
@@duzzyclayton5821 yeah funny enough I do aswell
His Gibson icons interview is brilliant anyone who likes this will really enjoy it 👍
Matt Morgan has a great rapport with Noel. Great interview
Someone please give him his own show. OR Noel start a podcast. Always refreshing free speaking, love him - hate him. It’s how it should be…. (Before the flakes)
Noel appears regularly on the Matt Morgan podcast on Patreon. A fiver a month, well worth it!
He's weirdly one of my favorite people to listen to speak. He's aged really well. He lost a bit of that youthful ego and edge that rubbed people the wrong way, but kept his personality and humor. He's still opinionated and all that but he's not nearly as abrasive as he used to be.
Get yer nose out of his back side and get a life.
Agreed, very engaging guy
@@oreally8605 Someone’s angry.
Man has never made a boring interview in his life. You can love him or hate him, but he is entertaining.
Noel and Matt are the greatest pair. And Noel is forever charming and hilarious.
You know you're going to get un-filtered honesty with this guy
noel's impressions:
Mancunian accent 3:31
David Bowie 09:49
spanish "fans" 27:04
Matt Smith 38:59
Thanks 👍
Was never a big Oasis fan, but Noel is one of the best interviews ever. He really needs his own podcast.
Can’t wait to see Noel and Matt still doing this when they’re in their 80s and on the brink of dementia and partially deaf so they’re shouting at each other and confused about what they’re even doing there.
😂😂😂👌
he said he's not interested in that (living to the 80s) in this culture. not that he would suicide to stop it
These two were born to be friends.
Love these two. They have a Heathen chemistry.
I'm not a fan of Noel's music generally, but Alone on the Rope is a magnificent record. For me it works on different emotional levels, from how I view myself to how I've tried to understand my stepson's suicide in 2022, even though the writer states here that it's not about that. If you know, you know. It's one of those rare tracks which brings me to tears when I listen. Thank you, Noel.
GRACIAS,Noel!!! Argentina loves u soooo much. We're already saving the date, whenever your gig is!! ♡♡♡♡♡♡
Noel Gallagher and the gym.. there’s two phrases I never thought to hear in my lifetime..
I think I'm the last person left in the world who has never set foot inside a gym.
@@chrisjames1905 no there’s 2 of us!! I’ve never even seen the inside of a gym let alone been in one!! I remember a Simpsons episode where Homer pronounces it as GYME!!
@@mrkipling2201 Gyme? What's a gyme? Oh...a gyme!
@@chrisjames1905 I know!! One of the funniest things I’ve ever seen on the Simpsons!! He pronounced it like grime but spelt properly, GYM. Crazy!! 🤣🤣
I used to say to my wife back in the 90's that when noel is on TV/radio doing interviews , you stop what your doing and listen and it's still the same , and now I've found the music noel listens to and talks about and never heard before are great , from Paul McCartney 19 hundred and 85 to peculiar psychedelic French chick's, he's my personal music review, if noel likes it 9 times out of 10 so do I cheers noel for broadening my musical horizons 👍
Omg I said exactly the same to her, no I didn’t I’d of been 15…but I do remember washing your car at the time.
Great post... I concurr.
I got into the band Jungle because of him

Alone on a Rope is an amazing piece of genius music.
Alone on the rope is a true piece of art, imho. I listen to it quite often.

One of my favourite Noel songs.
So glad this is back !!
this is quite fun going to the records he plays.. then going back
Bono can outdrink anyone. and he's up in the morning with a smile on his dial, while most would be weeping.
Familiar to Millions - Wembley Stadium 2000 - some glands were definitely released after Liam requested it on the big screen. Included on the DVD as well.
Liam's reaction was priceless! (To be fair they were great)
noel being a bore the way hes talkin bout it!
Liam at Wembley that day - “It’s tradition”. What a mighty impressive show of glands they were, too. Happy days.
@@jillianmccafferty3092 hello sweetie
That was a right pair of honkers wannit!!!
This should be a weekly show, hilarious duo putting them together is comedy gold
His interviews are always so funny
Could listen to these two chat all day! Love it!
That hello at 9:55 got me 🤣🤣
The deep lines in Noels face are amazing.
Love it, thank you so much for sharing it on here
“Why do they make children’s bats? For underage violence!” Hahahahaha. That put tears in my eyes I was laughing so hard. Cheers all,
So true about Alone On The rope... VERY underrated imho
Noel's Impression of Clint boon is spot on. 😄
Cracked me up in rferring to coming back as somone for a day.
"alive or dead?"
"well, alive when you do it otherwise it would be boring"
Thank you Manchester
These 2 should do a show every week, always great listening
Noel has needed a radio show of his own since 1994. Been pulling up many of the songs featured because I always appreciated Noels taste. Its hit and miss.🤣 These guys have the most important comedy element (for my tastes): speed.
Best B side record Talk Tonight such an amazing tune one of the best he’s wrote and read it was about an event when on tour in America where he left the band as his head was in bits and went to San Francisco to see a girl he’d met at one of his gigs earlier on tour.
I would love to hear all of Noel's story's on his wild partying day's now that would be an absolutely amazing time so long as he could remember them 😊
I would listen to this any day/time of the week. Surely it can be monitised somehow...
2:55 the way he takes his earphones off and goes on a rant 😂..you’re getting it son 😂😂
Please do more you 2/3 This is why radio still lives today.
Great banter!
I loved this video of adverts the intermediate parts of noel Gallagher really broke them up well .......
This is gold.
It’s weird how much I love Matt Morgan
Matt Morgan is class, love his podcast!
There's a radio show matt n noel did a few years back on absolute radio, it's so funny matt talking about having a roast dinner in LA with Courtney love , and lemmy from mitorhead having a bumbag full of speed , comedy gold 🤣
Is that after the Matt and Russell Brand shows?
@@Monkeypole I think so yeah, there's quite a few shows from absolute and radio 2
Is this a weekly show? If only they could get Noel interested enough to do a weekly podcast. In fact, I'd love to see him put together a solid 30 mins and do a stand up show.
he has done loads with Matt Morgan (fella in the video) on his Patreon!
Just listened to Alone on the Rope for the first time and it's a belter! It sounds like it could be a song written by, or written for, the band 'Doves'. Would love to hear Doves do a cover (I think either of the 3, Jimi, Jez or Andy, on vocals would sound amazing).
Legend.
Just listened to 'dimples' by the del rays.
It is funny 😄
32:40 is around when I think about Oasis. Liam is in the UK beginning to sing at what, 16/17 years old. Noel is out traveling the world as a roadie. Gets back home, and Liam talks him into playing in their band The Rain.
I'm always so mystified by the early Oasis days. The early demos are simply amazing and sound so incredible to me. Cloudburst live demos are floating around the 'tube. Take a listen to it. Amazing.
Not all heroes wear capes
"Trimbolina"....lol love Noel ♡
'Running the show' am getting that book.
Ahh man, I love the word footy!!
Class.
Noel is top drawer 💥
funnier and more interesting than I had expected ;-)
When Noel said his song ‘Alone On the Rope’ was his most underrated, as I’ve never heard it, I went straight to a live version, and it’s a great song. I think he may misjudge the reaction as it’s not a song the scream and shout to, but take in and think. Quite melancholic or sentimental feeling to it. Or maybe I’m one of the connoisseurs he speaks of. 🙄
Noel is hilarious 😂
Funnier than Liam and his high school bully humor.
"This is amazing. IT'S ABOUT SUICIDE" 😂😂😂😂
Argentina comment on 26:10. Thank you Noel.
Someone Please Give Noel His Own 📻 Radio Show.. !. I Could Listen To Noel Gallagher All Day Long.
Thanks, Radio X Residency
( I also get it about people saying footy or soccer ) ⚽️.

Lol I loved this can’t wait to watch more of these.
I'll say it again, he's the mate you want sat at your table around drinks- funny, dry, no BS and obviously so knowledgeable about music. @noel- what are you doing next weekend?
Released the glands 😭
Alone on the Rope is a great song!
Up one two, down one two. . . . .and then the other sock. . .a Chubby Brown joke, from 1990. . .brilliant
Thanks!
Wind Noel up and let him hold court and you'll be entertained for two hours.
Thanks Man

The most arrogant thing someone can say🤣
The Specials were a Prince Buster cover band. Bluebeat
Yes that caller asking about your 'big shot' friends was a snide
These chats are great. Noel comes up with some really obscure, hidden gem songs. Like being in Collectors Record Centre.
6:38 best answer to this question I've heard yet! Getting to experience being Neil Armstrong walking on the moon..
I have always been team Liam but have been really enjoying these
Crossing the fine line between light entertainment and inane self-indulgent banter.
Seams I’ve found myself a little ‘Easter Egg’ with Alone On The Rope. Great song. Love first time listening, had to listen again, stopping this video right when he said that.
I'm English but worked in Brazil for 2 years. It is honestly an amazing country, Noel is correct 👌
Andy Couzens was the 2nd guitarist with the Stone Roses, spot on Noel. Pete Garner was the original bass player.
I watched the Giza pyramid laser show from the top floor of the pizza hut... In the mid 90s

Noel scores major kudos for playing a Prince Buster track.

Noel discovers how Prince Buster influenced a band like The Specials... yes that was fairly common for the Two Tone ska bands from the UK to pay tribute to the original ska pioneers by interpolating or straight up covering their tunes.... that was early ska.
Ska music I have always found tough on the ears. Just could never warm to it.
@@youngdylan5083 There's a reason that music was always fairly niche or underground. Most often for it to be digestible to others it had to be mixed with other styles of music like punk. Ska is a form of pop and dance music from Jamaica, and not everybody likes that kind of application of music. More people can tolerate the follow-up genre of Rocksteady or Reggae.
@@MedalionDS9 Yeah I agree, great points by the way. I consider my tastes quite diverse. Indie, metal, grunge, rock n roll from the 50s, 60s, 70s etc.. I’m a sucker for old folk and new Americana & shoegaze. I have tried with ska, but I’m also swayed by melody, I’ve just at found Ska devoid of any melody!
