Lucy says: It was wonderful to record this beautiful song by one of my favorite singer's Barbra Streisand.
"Evergreen" was written by for the 1976 film "A Star is Born" which starred Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. Barbra Streisand wrote the music and the lyrics were written by Paul Williams. "Evergreen" won The Oscar and Golden Globe for Best Original Song as well as a Grammy for Song of the Year.
Lucy Thomas is 19 years old and from Wigan , Lancashire in England. She was a Semi-Finalist on "The Voice Kids" in 2018. She really enjoys recording both cover and original Pop and Musical songs.

I got the notification of this posting 2 minutes after posting and went and watched and notified you right away, seems many did but you came through on this STUNNING song, I had never heard the song before went and looked up Streisand version and yep Lucy CRUSHED this song as usual !!! Every new performance is better than the last. Lucy has real talent and is not afraid to use it. She was just a kid when I discovered her on CZcams. I have seen her grow and mature on screen. Even at age 14, Lucy was far ahead of others in their generation.
This performance is typical Lucy Thomas Magic.... 1 camera, 1 mic, 1 take start to finish. Lucy is singing this live, not hiding in a studio. Many will simply lip sync in front of camera, toss in some gimmicky edits, then roll it out. Lucy does just the opposite. That is more proof just how good Lucy really is. She has no peers even close.

Lucy's first commercial recorded song, an original by Chris Brrom is ONE DAY when Lucy was 13, the only way to find it is search for her song GENTLE BREEZE and after that song plays, there are 4 more songs suggested and ONE DAY is in the lower right side. It is different from her usual as it starts out at a mic with head phones but there are several scenes out doors of Lucy, in the winter .it is a stunning song for her first commercial recording.
