A beautiful song enhanced by the lovely voices of the Thomas sisters. First time hearing them but I would listen to more. I listen to a variety of music,(metal, rap, rock), but this type of song always draws me in.
Ok guys, thanks for a nice reaction. I am happy that you are warming up to Lucy and Martha. These sisters are so talented and their voices are amazing together. I personally can't find fault in them as I think they are as close to perfection as one can get. This song was gorgeous. Personally I think they deserve more than 8.9.

The message and the movie, Hanna Montana is classic Disney. Martha has really found her voice, and guessing we will be treated to her solos soon. The Thomas Sisters have perfected amazing harmonies. Each of their voices compliments the other. The farm backdrop has been used in other songs, even as far back as 'Color Of The Wind' age 9. It was also used in 'You Raise Me Up'. Both of them look totally relaxed in this country setting. Thinking it is Grandma's and Grandpa's farm outside Wigan / Manchester.

Re the backing track, I believe that her producer, Chris Broom records and arranges all Lucy's backing tracks.
Remember that the age gap between the sisters is almost 6 years, which shows how good Martha is that she can blend so well with the maturity of Lucy’s voice.
Interestingly, it their duet "The prayer", Martha takes the lower register and Lucy the higher.
I don't know my vibrato to my lambretta , I just know what I like. what's not to like here . as usual a smashing performance.

I love the two girls and it's nice to see how they get better and better together. As nice as Lucy's old school numbers are, I think she should focus more on modern music and rethink her place in the music industry.It would be a shame if she continued to waste her talent in the You Tube bubble.

OK I'm just going to jump off the deep end and say it...I think Martha is going to be the most competitive to Lucy for best voice. Every duet Martha has shown that she can belt right along with Lucy. The Climb is the first time she has had the lead and her voice is beautiful. It is time for Martha to start her own You Tube channel and record many, many solos. She can have Lucy on for duets. Agree or disagree???
My Brit Pops cousins, you promised us more Sohyang quite a while ago and have yet to deliver on your promise. Don't make me come over there from Canada and demand an answer why! LOL! I'd have to swim there but you know what I mean! Please, more Sohyang! She is the best female singer in the world and we'd like a lot more! 🤷♂🤔😉
As amazing as Sohyang is, I find her voice quality does not quite compare to Lucy's. It is thinner. Lucy's is fuller.

Keep in mind though that this is a studio recording with ample opportunity to perfect the vocals, and they may even be pitch corrected or some such other nasty thing. Not saying they are, but ... Sohyang's songs are performed _live_ with no fancy studio monkey business. That is why Sohyang is the best. No one can sing live like her.
@@ToddSauve No, they are not pitch corrected. Besides, you haven't heard Lucy sing solo. Here is a short iphone video of Lucy busking on the street for a fundraiser. Simple audio set up with mic and amp...no auto tune czcams.com/video/bNBmBKgo3ks/video.html .She has a pure pitch perfect voice. This is as bare bones as you can get. Here is another live performance for another fundraiser when Lucy was 15 years old: czcams.com/video/-DMg8jp2YHw/video.html . No bells and whistles here either. Just pure voice. She is still young and a student, not a professional like the older established Sohyang who is 45 years old. None the less, Lucy has managed to record over 60 songs and has over 119 million views on her channel. Many say she is a vocal coaches dream and the next Barbra Streisand. She can hit every note that Sohyang can but has a much purer voice. Sohyang is a bit shreiky in the higher range. Lucy is not. That is what I mean by quality. @@georgegliszczynski8576 Well George, we can agree to disagree. I have nothing against Lucy but I have only heard this one song. But Sohyang is not "shreiky" and I don't understand how you can come to that conclusion. I have heard some people who simply don't like Sohyang say that. But I will assume you are not one of them. But she is not shreiky. In any event, enjoy Lucy and I will keep an eye out for her in the future.

Hey Todd, don't get your swim wear out just yet. We will of course return to Sohyang soon, we just need more hours in the day to do all the things we do here, plus keep up with our real jobs and of course say hi to the family now and then.
