Yes, Lucy's voice is " rich".
I am not musician, but as an engineer I know that a sound is done with some basic frequency and harmonics , as much harmonics you have, as much the sound is richer.
For long , I thought that Celine's voice is perfect, then I listened to Lucy. When I compared , I found Celine's voice "cold" and Lucy's voice "warm". I think it has something to do with the harmonics...❤

Barbra had a great 60 year career, and this song was big. Lucy has a 10 year career. She is still only 19 and not in full bloom yet. What performances will she give us to enjoy in the future? I hope to see some more of it. I'm way too old but she is my favorite of all time. Her sweet tone and vibrato just melts me. Keep on the Lucy train. @@SS-do3zv I love Barbra. She has given me many hours of pleasure. Not only her singing but her acting as well. She along with other greats from the 50ies to today fill my playlist. Sadly time waits for no one. Barbra has been retired for quite some time. Tasteful tribute covers keep her in our minds. And as you read the comments expose her to newer generations that research her to see where this wonderful music came from. I have watched Lucy for years. She pays homage to the original artists but does the songs her way. Give her a few views. Try a few originals. Her tributes to Eva Cassidy, Whitney, Etta are all good listens. You might be pleased. Hey Zooty, So your analogy about Lucy's vocal quality was the best one I've heard yet (and think I've listened to pretty much them all from others).....plus, having just listened to the Barbra's version as well, and though her being an amazing vocalist in her own right -- Just not quite as rich as Real hot chocolate! This song is written and sung by Barbra Striesand. Lucy voice is beautiful pitch perfect , also rich and beautiful tone quality. She is the best female vocalist in the world today

But yes a fact of the music industry these days all need correction. This is a video and the best audio will be used in it as will all singers including Streisand. Auto-Tune is applied to live singing. This is a video so a post recording, so false statement. I can inform I've watched Lucy close up and personal sing live Evergreen and she was pitch perfect. Not quite as good live as the video but spot on. Only a mic to boost her voice - I was there! 🙂

Hi ya Zooty - Thank you for another great reaction to Lucy. I have written many comments with many other reactionists as well as yours, and I think I can't say another comment other than thanks. Then Lucy puts out another video of superior quality and I see the facial expressions on another reactionist and how her voice makes them feel the same way I felt when I first heard her performance. There aren't enough superlative adjectives. that can use to express the feelings I have when listening to her. Every vocal rendition brings tears to my eyes - she is so wonderfully genuine in the way she sings those songs. This one is yet another one of those songs. Please stay safe and healthy my friend and to all of Lucy's supporters.
The only regret i have with lucy is that she appeared so late in my life that i will not have years to enjoy her stunning voice & appearance.

I will recommend : She use to be mine ( from musical Waitress).
She did it at age 14, and you can , already , see her talent.
