SBMM isn't going away. The game isn't going to be anything more than a storefront for garbage pixels you can't see during normal gameplay. game won't be feature complete on launch day. no ranked mode on launch day. garbage maps. streaks won't wrap. etc
There can't be ranked on launch. Ranked is supposed to mimic what is played in the CDL, and you can't have that before at least the comp season starts. Other than that, you're correct. They had 4 years, a broken game at launch is unexcusable.
@@lucasbassani9014 GAs aside, everything in CoD is numbers on a spreadsheet. These devs aren't new to FPS (well..that's what they want you to believe, anyway). They can EASILY reference the 20 years of gun stats and at least attempt to pay attention to iron sights/optics so they can make a shortlist for Ranked Season 0 (aka preseason). but they won't.

Last cod I played was black ops cold war, and that was shit show but still I think it is better than mw2019, vangaurd, mw2 (2022) electric bogloo, and mw3 (2023).

I think MWIII's post launch support has been the best we have seen, and if it wasn't for the bundles, I'd still play the game. SBMM sucks, sure, but what also sucks is being forced to see all the stupid death effects, tracer effects, ridiculous operator skins in the game for me. I wish I could just turn all cosmetics off, and play the game in a more grounded experience, like most COD's are at launch.
They need to tie these skins and camos to a base skin/camo and add a "hide non local" or "hide non base" skins/camos. As bad of a game as For Honor is, to be able to turn off all those fortinie esque effects has been a option for a very long time. Needs to be universal for games. Just because person x paid 80 bucks for a niki minaj skin, shouldn't require me to see it in my game.

I've not touched Call of Duty since MW2 Electric Boogaloo 2022 (Steam says I have 13 hours). Strange really, I'd been playing since COD4. Crazy how you can lose interest in something that's been so prevalent in your day to day & not even miss it, like, even slightly. On the topic of SBMM I feel like myself & those I frequently played with were above average but not amazing (TDM/Dom/Hardpoint mostly). I recall a shit load of times where we'd hop on, have a rock solid first game, the 3-4 of us at the top of the lobby then immediately get violated for the next 4-5 lobbies. There's plenty of wiggle room too loosen the reigns from what I could tell.
I stopped playing with the start of this Season 3. This is the forst time ever I didn't even buy the Battle Pass. I used to rush home to play and talk about COD at work everyday. Watch Streamers daily, now hardly at all .
Your headquarters woes are always so validating to hear. Such a good feature. Make the menu into a lobby to hang out in with 1v1 pit and firing range? Nah screw that here’s a Hulu ass nightmare of an interface
The armory system is extremely stupid. I can only unlock two or three attachments a day if that. Totally not worth it. Everybody was talking highly this year call of duty and I regret purchasing it. Let’s not talk highly of call of duty. Let’s keep dashing call duty until they fix the game.

Wait why I can unlock pretty much as much as I want in like an hour. . . Most of the items that you try to unlock require you to complete 2 - 4 Challenges which is literally just two to four matches. Meaning you can get your unlock by just winning a couple of matches
Honestly it’s not the best, but as long as they allow camo tier progressions as a challenge completed I’m fine with it.
@@darkblade51224 am I missing something because you can only unlock thing from the armory. Through daily challenges and you only get three or four daily challenges a day.
the weekly challenges are only an expansion of daily ones aimed to make ppl play more.
i miss being able to pick score streaks for every load out you ran so you could have 10 load outs all running different streaks , instead of streaks that cover every load out you have.
I just wanna say if anyone plays on Xbox you should disable cross play on the settings menu it really solves the SBMM issue for the most part
Cold War unlock keys being earned was a good idea. They just need to expand on that. And if they don’t do traditional prestige, goin up to leave 1000 every season should give you a special reactive camo and operator skin.
SBMM is still a big issue..I do good one match and if they put me against a stacked team for 7 games in a row..then I’m backing out of 7 games in a row..

Man I just got mw3 after waiting for so long and after I found out I have to do daily challenges for weapons I was completely turned off. Why can’t we just have normal cod where we level up to unlock weapons and attachments ? I’m tired of jumping through all these hoops just for a new gun

I like aftermarket parts to an extent. The flame thrower, chainsaw, double barrel smg stuff like that is amazing. I don't mind aftermarket part sights either. It's the ones that do change a weapon into another weapon in a sense that bothers me. Take the part that's coming up that turns the mk2 into the model 1887 turning the rifle into a shotgun. I feel like it's at an instant disadvantage compared to other shotguns because every other shotgun can run 5 attachments, however technically the "new" shotgun can only use 4 because the first attachment slot is being used just to make it different. At that point just give me an entirely new gun. With that being said pick 10 is way better than gunsmith so here's hoping we get back to that
Cod 2025 is Black Ops 2. Remastered, that's going to be the best cod ever! I'm hyped for 2025 and can't wait to stream it!

That is 1 pro for E.O.M.M it does help newbies by leveling out the playing field but then the game doesn't feel organic

I agree that post launch support (and weekly challenges/mini events) in MWIII has been great, and I want them to keep doing it. I remember that MWII was TERRIBLE with post launch support, where Season 1 had two remakes for their only MP maps for the season and one of them we just had in Vanguard! Plus there was nothing to do week to week and it we were starving for new content. I also want Treyarch to bring back Reactive camos for their Mastery camos, like BO4, which I still contend had the best camos in COD.
Bo1 in game currency system was awesome.
I remember COD ghost got a lot of shit, but me personally I loved that game. I bet any OG player would do anything to play within those days again 😢

Ik he’s been around since cod 2, but he’s been hated for so long & black out the battle royal that was “his baby” technically failed when you compare it to Warzone (both are trash) but still why tf is this weird af community now giving this guy praise instead of hate? I like the weekly challenges it at least gets me to hop on and play a little more, however as with most the sweatfest is real and I can only take about an hour or so on the game with my limited availability of life, I choose to use it playing other games that are fun for me.
The problem with so many challenges is that rarely do people play the objectives

i think skill based matchmaking is fine. The real issue is a lack of a ranked system and progression system. If im going against people of similar skill levels then i want to earn ranks and rewards for that

So if Black Ops Gulf War does a feature like what we have in this game with Aftermarket Parts, I think they should refer to them as "Prototypes" in the next game. I wouldn't doubt stuff was being developed in R&D during that time in the real world. Why not explore that whole "what if?" from a weapons perspective?
This will be a great year for Treyarch. And good for them to give High moon studios to take over MWZ. So they'll do the finishing touches on Black Ops multi, zombies and campaign.

Treyarch might have been paying attention, but that matters little when Activision doesn't care. They haven't cared or listened since before Bo3, all those skins and RNG boxes sold. That has been the model, and wont change, it makes far too much money even if only 150,000 players on just PC kept buying it, it still would clear (that 80$ skin, 150,000players x 80$ = 12,000,000) And that's for ONE bundle, and that is not taking in to account players on console nor the full player count still on PC, or the initial cost of the game at $70-$100+. People really dont seem to comprehend, exactly why they keep doing it. $12,000,000 made on one bundle, that's why.

Not really sure how. The BP50 doesn’t really feel like the MCW and those don’t really feel like the SVA which feels different than DG-58. I could do that for each class. There’s plenty of variety
id rather hve the pick 10 system back. cut down on the amount of duplicate attachments, no need for 15 red dots, 25 barrels, 25 fore grips, 10 stocks, ect. its to damn confusing. im tryying to play an fps, not a spreadsheet.
I'm not interested until they change the matchmaking. Haven't bought a CoD since Cold War and until I hear confirmation that the matchmaking has changed they won't be getting a penny. I've played since CoD4 and it's such a shame they seem to have forgotten what makes games enjoyable. If CoD4 had shit streaks and matchmaking that punished good players the franchise would never have taken off.

WW2 HQ was underrated they always take away the good stuff in COD; They always keep the bad stuff.
If I know my games/franchise is going down hill, there’s absolutely no way I’d put any of the good features/maps/modes etc. I’d save it for when it starts picking up.
Like zombies for example, if Treyarch screw this years zombies or if it isn’t up to par, then they definitely need to put zombies away in a cupboard and leave it well alone until someone has a good idea for it.

I find it funny how you say the pick 10 system was flawless and than talk about how great the aftermarket part feature is. That feature spawns from the system introduced in mw2019 which in my opinion should be the standard class system from now on. Pick 10 is outdated imo

I am just going to stay on MW3. There is so much content in this game that there is zero reason to play the new game next year with how much there is. Plus all the sweats will goto the new game so I will be able to chill.
