We need more Sonic games with this style of gameplay. The Colors and Generations gameplay were Sonic Team's lightning in a bottle. (Sonic Team can do it, Sonic Boom was made by outside companies.)

I do agree that this gameplay has made the modern sonic games easier, however there are a few spikes in difficulty, Mainly a few of the maps in Unleashed. After unleashed and the changed the voice of sonic that's when IMO sonic went down hill, after that the games became too easy. If they were to make a modern game with this game style and have difficulty and a good story line the game would be very good, but I doubt it because I agree, SEGA has a bad history of making mistakes in their modern sonic games like trying to make sonic like the current generation today. Hopefully they fix Sonic soon or later.

Oh wow. I didn't know Sonic Colors was a canon storyline. I thought it was just a side game like Sonic and the Secret rings. I really like that stage music for Planet Wisp.

I really liked generations for all of its remastered levels, and I loved the remastered bosses. My main problem with the game was a few of the level choices. There were a few level I would've loved to see in this game as a DLC or something. Like Bingo Highway, Final Fortress, Chaos Angel, FInal Rush, Ice Cap Zone, Scrap Brain zone, and Crimson Carnival for classic sonic. Also they spoiled the Death Egg boss X(. Other than that the game was amazing and had some beautiful remastered designs.
what i dont like about it is how city escape was remade they changed the most iconic parts of the stages and really overdid it with the GUN truck why couldn't they keep the original??!!

Man, it would be amazing if developers used Egg Fleet stage from Sonic Heroes. This level was marvelously epic, while the Seaside Hill was basically the same Green Hill, just with ancient ruins and different soundtrack.

Everybody did suck at this game at some point, but not city escape. It's one of the easiest levels in sonic, period. So yeah, if you had trouble with City Escape then you do suck. Thats like having trouble with Green Hill.
Despite what some critics might say, this game is actually very decent in my opinion. There's multiple paths to take in each stage, decent boss/rival battles (albeit maybe not as tough) and when you master stages like you saw here you can just tear through them.
Crisis City is definitely on the better side of levels for me. I can't pick my favorite level between Rooftop Run and City Escape, but third place goes to Speed Highway. Crisis City is 4th for me. But this is only for modern sonic. For Classic Sonic my opinion changes a bit, Crisis City is much lower on my list of Classic Sonic level. This is my top three for Classic Sonic 1. City Escape 2. Speed Highway 3. Rooftop Run Crisis City would be 7th or 8th for Classic Sonic

I loved this game just like I do with every sonic game(except sonic lost world) but it didn't get me as pumped as sonic unleashed did the new remix for crisis city is badass and I wish you could use multiple wisp in one level but still an awesome game.
What sega should do is make a game with a mixed gamplay and mechanic format of This and Sonic adventure series. Bassically, Imagine SAB2 with these graphics, and improved but not changed gameplay. Also making sure they keep the kickass soundtrack style they had. Oh, and one more thing BRING CHOA GARDEN BACK WITH ONLINE MULTIPLAYER FEATURES!

Favorite Sonic game right here. The Classic Sonic games had cheap moments, Sonic Adventure had Big the Cat and Amy Rose, Sonic Adventure 2 had treasure hunting and mech shooting levels, Sonic Heroes had annoying speech, Shadow the Hedgehog is crap, Sonic 2006 is crap, Sonic Unleashed has the werehog and annoying quicktime events, Sonic Colors has the slow Hover Wisp, and Sonic Lost World has the run button, too bright, and story that shows Sonic to be an idiot. But, Sonic Lost World is a good Sonic game if you turn the brightness down on your TV, use the controller that's NOT the Wii U Controller, and give your hand a blister holding down the run button for the whole game. Making Lost World better comes with a price.

This is why I like the Boss games more than the Dreamcast games. Look at Any Daytime stage in Sonic Unleashed, any Stage in Sonic Colours, any Modern Stage in Generations and any Modern stage in Forces.
