Why is 4km the longest range test with this 4g LTE mod? What would the problem be if you went 7km out and back? Are you just being conservative or is there something about the Bebop 2 or your 4g LTE service that makes it not possible? Is it the added weight of the modification?
Joe Shmo This is my first long range test for BB2 with 4G LTE. The major purpose is to test the 4G connect performance. I think the 7km range is no problem for 4G. Only one concern is the power.
Thanks for the quick reply I think this would be a good drone for me because it doesn't have a mechanical gimbal for me to break on rough landings but it does have good digital stabilization. Then if I ever get geeky enough to make the modification it would be nice to have that option.
hi, cool your video, I managed with the parrot disco, I fly in 4g but for the bebop 2, the key 4g flashes all the time. can you share me your files and your lines of code if you have, I am under windows, I started with the site uavpal like for the disco, I leave the firmware in 4.4.2, the key works with the disco . thank you in advance the friend
the key 4g flashes all the time: 4G flashes on SC2 or BB2? I will suggest you can upgrade the firmware to 4.7.1 first. Then reinstall 4G softmod file again. Please remember to download the file again. The 4G softmod file is different for 4.4.1 & 4.7.1. github.com/uavpal/beboptwo4g/wiki/Installation
Thank you for your reply, it is the LED Huawei which is not fixed, APN OK I know that there was a problem, you had to modify certain files you wrote " ToddTsao commented on May 18 I have install the SIM card. I use the same SIM card for my DISCO-4g & BB2. The Disco-4g is no problem. The 4g dongle is no power on for BB2.How did you do it? Can you send me your files that works for you? Thank you
